Preliminary Clinical Effects On Patients With Microendoscopy Discectomy Degenerative Lumbar Instability Cured By Two Fusion Schemes

Objective Preliminary Clinical Effects on Patients with Microendoscopy Discectomy Degenerative Lumbar Instability Cured by Two Fusion SchemesMethods 75 patients with microendoscopy discectomy degenerative lumbar instability who were cured by using two operation methods from December 2008 to June 2015 and acquired complete follow-up were conducted retrospective analysis.According to different fusion schemes,these patients were divided into two groups:40 patients in the first group(the control group)were applied with microendoscopy discectomy interbody fusion cage combining with behind fixation system for treatment.35 patients in the second group(the improved group)were equipped with inferior interbody fusion cage combining with superior autogenous bone graft fusion and behind fixation system for treatment.Before operation,after operation and in final follow-up,low back pain function scoring in Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA),visual analogue scale(VAS)and pfirrmann scoring system evaluation were applied to evaluate clinical effects in both groups.The adjacent segment intervertebral space height was measured and calculated as the imaging evaluation standard;interbody fusion situation was judged by Suk standards.Results All patients were followed up for 12-50 months with the mean of 24 months.General data of gender,age and follow-up time and various parameters before operation in two groups had no statistical significance.All patients acquired the better fusion rate and improvement rate of clinical effects.After operation,JOA scoring and VAS scoring were obviously improved than before-operation results.The difference had statistical significance and preliminary clinical follow-up effects were great.Conclusion Two fusion schemes have favorable fusion and clinical effects as curing microendoscopy discectomy degenerative lumbar instability,but the fusion scheme in the improved group have the better advantage to reduce adjacent segment degeneration.
