Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy With Gen Tong Yin Ointment

Objective: Observe the exact curative effect of Gen Tong Yin Ointment combined with cervical traction treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and is it possible reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in the alimentary canal,and explore its mechanism of the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods: Fifty cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly divided into observation group and control group,25 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Gen Tong Yin Ointment combined with cervical traction,control group was treated with Diclofenac Sodium Dual Release Enteric-coated Capsules combined with cervical traction,14 days for a course.1 cases did not complete the course of treatment and withdrawal,and 2 cases were not treated in accordance with the provisions of the program were eliminated,47 cases met the requirements of this research,including the observation group of 24 cases,the control group of 23 cases.Records of two groups of patients before treatment,after treatment,treatment after the end of the 2 week VAS,CR with 20 points system scale,NDI,clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of digestive tract in two groups of patients during treatment,the obtained data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results: The VAS,CR with 20 points system scale,NDI of the two groups before treatment and after treatment,after the end of treatment were compared between the 2 groups,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The overall efficacy of the two groups of patients,VAS,CR with 20 points system scale,NDI were compared,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the alimentary canal during the treatment of the two groups was compared,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions: There was a good curative effect and two kinds of combination therapy can effectively improve the patient’s condition.The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group.Gen Tong Yin Ointment combined with cervical traction has a significant effect on patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,less adverse reactions in the alimentary canal and easy to be accepted by patients.Finally,this combination therapy can be widely used in clinic.
