Cerebral palsy is the most popular physical disability diseases, which primarily manifested as central movement disorders and abnormal postures. The primary pahtogenesis of cerebral palsy is that before birth,at birth and be born in a year some bad factors leading to its congenital brain defect caused by central motion disorders and abnormal posture. Most nosogenesis lead to some damages at the stage of growth and development of the immature brain tissue. The main characteristic of cerebral palsy is the muscles become rigid or soft, besides, they can’t complete the normal physical activity, which is due to the loss of normal control of the central nervous system. The primary pathogeny is the brain rather than muscle,so it is called cerebral palsy.Bilateral cerebral hemisphere is asymmetrical not only in the structure but also in the function. The functional lateralizations is always exist, when the cerebral cortex executes brain tasks such as motor, sensory, language and so on.Lateralizations is a judgment to effect the degree of coordination and cooperation capacity of the brain area. The aim of this study is to reseach the lateralizations of cerebral palsy, based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging and the method of brain lateralizations.Firstly,we used independent component analysis to get several brain network, then we calculate the Bv and LCF.Secondly,we calculated voxel-mirrored homotopic connectivity,to assess the degree of coordination of the various brain regions. This study is mainly based on resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging, and study the lateralization of the brain networks and the lateralization of homotopic voxels,in order to bring new idea to congnitive neuroscience and brain lateralization reseach.Based on the statistical analysis of local Bv and LCF between children with cerebral palsy and normal developed children, the functional lateralizations of children with cerebral palsy in the default network, cerebellum network and frontoparietal network is lower than normal developed children, but after carotid endarterectomy and rehabilitation of motor imagery, the functional lateralizations in some part of the cerebellum network, the default network and the frontoparietal network is increased, indicating that surgery and rehabilitation treatment of cerebral palsy play a certain role to promote their recover;after the calculation of VMHC,we find that children with cerebral palsy in the postcentral gyrus, supplementary motor area, cerebellum, putamen and other regional functional connectivity decreased, that the cerebral palsy’s motor function integration is abnormal, which provides the explains for the abnormal movement of cerebral palsy, the result of VMHC in the thalamus is also decreased in children with cerebral palsy, which suggests that children with cerebral palsy in terms of feel and response of feedback is generally lower than normal children, because the thalamus having a relay function as sensory relay station.
