Objectives:This study aims to explore the effectiveness of cognitive function training on cognitive disorders in patients with mental disorders caused by traumatic brain injury, which provides theoretical basis for clinical cognitive function training.Methods:76 patients with mental disorders caused by traumatic brain injury were recruited and were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group received cognitive function training while the control group did not. Both groups received LOTCA cognitive assessment before treatment. After being treated for 3 months, both groups received LOTCA assessment again.Data was processed and drawn with MSExcel 365.Data was analyzed with IBMSPSS 22.0.independent sample t test was used to compare the demographic data between two groups.Repeated Measure ANOVA was used to compare the effects before and after treatment.a=0.05 is the statistical criteria. Results:The patients of control group were 34 to 54 years old with average age of 45.76±5.61 years old;The patients of experimental group were 34 to 54 years old with average age of 44.16±5.38 years old.The education years of patients in control group were 6 to 15 years with average of 10.58±2.63 years; The education years of patients in control group were 6 to 16 years with average of 11.16±3.34 years. There was no statistical differences in age and education years between the two groups(p>0.05).There was no statistical difference between two groups before treatment(p>0.05).There were differences between two groups after cognitive function training(p<0.001);In control group, the cognitive functions were statistically different(p<0.01).There were also extremely significant differences in the experimental group before and after treatment(p<0.001).The improvement after treatment was higher in experimental group than in control group. Conclusions:Cognitive impairment existed in most patients with mental disorders caused by brain injury. The cognitive function training had a significant effect on the cognitive function recovery of the mental disorders caused by brain injury. The patients’ social function recovered significantly through systematical cognitive function training. Therefore, the cognitive function training is worth to be popularized and applied in clinical practice.
