Objective To investigate the dietary structure characters and the associated factors among adolescents in Ningbo city.Method We selected four middle schools in Ningbo city and used a questionnaire including demographic variable,diet behavior and habit,learning burden,playing online game,body type and evaluate of body type.We used food frequency table which contain 38 items to evaluate the dietary structure of participators.Statistical analysis method included Pearson Chi-square,multivariate Logistic regression,and factors analysis.Results The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that those adolescents who played online games were more likely to frequently eat fried food(OR=1.92,95%CI:1.35~2.73),drink beverage(OR=2.60,95%CI:1.85~3.65),eat salted food(OR=1.85,95%CI:1.31~2.60),eat snack food(OR=1.78,95%CI:1.24~2.54),and eat dairy product(OR=1.58,95%CI:1.11~2.25).Senior students were more likely to frequently drink beverage(OR=2.48,95%CI:1.66~3.70).Those body form often be ridiculed were more likely to frequently drink beverage(OR=2.86,95%CI:1.69~4.86)and eat salted food(OR=2.48,95%CI:1.47~4.18).Those adolescents who had dietary bias habit were more likely to frequently eat fried food,snack food,meat,dairy product,and less likely to eat vegetarian diet and coarse cereals.Male students were more likely to frequently eat fried food,salted food,meat,and drink beverage;less likely to eat snack food.Actual body type was not associated with diet structure.Conclusion This study identified eight dietary patterns of adolescent students and independent risk factors that associated with healthy dietary patterns.these results can provide support for developing comprehensive intervention measure on dietary patterns or behaviors of adolescent students and establishing healthy dietary patterns.
