Preliminary Exploration The Occlusal Contact Characteristics In Active Self-ligating Brackets Aligning Stage For Mild To Moderate Crowding Dentition With Non Extraction

Objective:In order to explore the preliminary occlusal contact characteristics of mild to moderate crowded dentition nonextraction patients with active self-ligating brackets aligning stage.To provide guidance for clinical work.Methods : The study objects were selected the patients who visited the orthodontic department at the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University during January 2015-September 2015.The samples included 16 patients who were Class ? and bonded metal self-ligating brackets.Using the T-Scan ? digital occlusal system with the 8.0 version operating software(T-Scan?8.0,Tekscan,USA)measured the parients' occlusion contact before the treatment(T0),replacing 0.014 inches NiTi round wire(T1),replacing 0.016 inches NiTi round wire(T2),replacing 0.018 inches NiTi round wire(T3).Recorded the total occlusal force(TOF),the asymmetry index of occlusal force(AOF),the time of occlusion(TO)in the intercuspal position(ICP)and measured the irregularity index(IRR)of maxillary dentition in T0,T1,T2,T3.Using SPSS 17.0 statistical software analyzed the indicator of the occlusion and the IRR.Results:At each time point,the total occlusal force(TOF)was no statistically significant difference,P=0.07,P>0.05;the difference of the asymmetry index of occlusal force(AOF),the time of occlusion(TO)and the irregularity index(IRR)were statistically significant,P<0.05.Conclusion:(1)The total occlusal force(TOF)in mild to moderate dental crowding patients during the aligning stage of the self-ligating brackets is no significant difference.(2)Mild to moderate crowding self-ligating bracket aligning stage,dental crowding patients improved significantly,left and right side bite more balanced than before treatment,the muscular contact position(MCP)and the intercuspal position(ICP)is more consistent.The occlusal stability is increased.
