| Objective Comparison the differences of the trabecular bone three dimensional structure between the avascular necrosis of the femoral head with different causes and the normal bone.Methods Collect 12 cases of femoral head specimens of patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head after total hip arthroplasty(Ficat II), 6 cases of femoral neck fracture. Micro CT scans were performed in all specimens, measurement the morphological parameters of trabecular bone in different regions.Results The Micro CT results show, compared three groups of trabecular bone three dimensional structure, fracture group, trabecular bone volume fraction(BV/TV), structure model index(SMI) was significantly higher than that of the femoral head necrosis group(p<0.05). Comparison between groups in various regions, avascular necrosis of the femoral head group, trabecular bone volume fraction below the fracture group, the trabecular spacing is higher than the fracture group. Within each group, femoral head necrosis group interval degree of anisotropy(DA) difference. The trabecular morphology of the avascular necrosis of the femoral head group change violently between the different regions. Avascular necrosis of the femoral head specimens under the microscope has obvious Zoning: the articular cartilage, necrosis, fibrosis, sclerosis necrosis region, normal region zone. Disorder, subchondral bone trabecular structural fracture, with cyst formation, repair areas of a large number of fibers, and the vertical distribution of MTD, the repair area is in parallel with the formation of hardened zone.Conclusions After the avascular necrosis of the femoral head, bone trabecula structure disorders and bone mass loss. Trabecular bone structure in different regions under the cartilage is remarkably different. Micro Ct measuring the trabecular bone three dimensional structure parameters, analysis of the trabecular bone microstructure sensitively and accurately. |
