Objectives:(1) Whether there is a correlation between serum levels of DHEA /DHEA-S and CAD in postmenopausal women.(2)Whether there is a correlation between serum levels of DHEA /DHEA-S and coronary artery stenosis degree in postmenopausal female CAD patients.Methods:1. This study selected 110 cases of postmenopausal women with CAD(coronary artery angiography revealed at least one coronary artery stenosis 50% or higher) as the research object, it can be divided into CAD group and CAD group with diabetes mellitus group, and select the 52 cases ruled out CAD patients with postmenopausal women as the study of the control group. 2. in patients with CAD, according to the extent of coronary stenosis is divided into: CAD single lesion, the double branch lesion group and multivessel lesions of three or more groups. Detect blood lipid, blood sugar, C- reactive protein, etc.Results:1.CAD group had a significantly higher serum levels of DHEA in diabetes mellitus group, serum levels of DHEA but significantly lower than the control group, serum levels of DHEA diabetes mellitus group was significantly lower than control group, serum levels of DHEA CAD group had a significantly higher serum levels of DHEA- S serum levels of DHEA- S diabetes mellitus group, but significantly lower than the control group, serum levels of DHEA- S serum levels of DHEA- S diabetes mellitus group was significantly lower than control group.2.The coronary artery lesion severity is greater than or equal to 50% but involving patients with coronary artery count different serum levels of DHEA- S, As the number of coronary artery stenosis degree of 50% or higher lesion coronary, DHEA- S decline is more obvious.3.the correlation analysis showed that patients’ serum levels of DHEA- S, low level of hormones such as expression and serum levels of DHEA coronary artery lesions showed a negative correlation relationship(P < 0.01); Whether patients with diabetes mellitus and the relationship between coronary artery lesions were positively correlated(P <0.01); Postmenopausal women and the relationship between coronary artery lesions were positively correlated(P < 0.01); The female menopause years and the relationship between coronary artery lesions were positively correlated(P < 0.01); Elderly patients and the relationship between coronary artery lesions were positively correlated(P < 0.01); In patients with postmenopausal age, C- reactive protein level, level of FBG, LDL- C level, TG, HDL-C levels and coronary artery lesions with no correlation(P > 0.05).Conclusions:1. The serum levels of DHEA/DHEA-S and whether in postmenopausal women with diabetes mellitus CAD plays an important role in carcinogenesis; 2. CAD postmenopausal patients with diabetes mellitus serum levels of DHEA-S is reduced, the heavier narrowed coronary arteries.Detection of serum levels of DHEA- S help determine lesion degree of coronary heart disease3. The CAD closely related to diabetes, age, menopausal status, hormone levels; 4. The old age, serum levels of DHEA-S, serum levels of DHEA and diabetes mellitus are the main risk factors.
