Comparative Study In Preoperative Staging Of Gastric Cancer Between 3.0T MRI And 256-slice Spiral CT

Objective : To explore the differential diagnosis value in preoperative TNM-staging of advanced gastric cancer with 3. 0T MRI and 256-slice spiral CT.Methods: 30 patients with advanced gastric cancer confirmed by gastroscopy and biopsy were administrated MRI and MSCT examination before surgery. Then the TNM-staging were evaluated by pathology.Results: There was a good consistency of TNM-staging between MRI and MSCT compared with biopsy. The accuracy of TNM-staging by MRI and MSCT was 53.3% and 50%, respectively. After statistics analysis, there was statistically difference between two examination methods.Conclusion: The accuracy of MRI is superior to MSCT in preoperative TNM-staging.
