Objective:To investigate the expression of chemokine receptor CXCR7 in colorectal cancer and explore the role of its expression in colorectal cancer occurrence and development. Methods: The expression of CXCR7 were detected by immunohistochemical staining chemical technology and semi-quantitative Western Blot technique in 48 cases of colorectal cancer tissues which were used as experimental group by surgical operation resection and 48 cases of normal tissues from the corresponding away from cancer tissues as control group. Results: CXCR7 protein in 48 cases of colorectal cancer tissues, the positive expression of the number of cases were more than the number of cases in the control group. The expression of CXCR7 protein was significantly higher in colorectal carcinoma than in adjacent tissues(t=4.974, P<0.05). The higher expression of CXCR7 protein was correlated closely with colorectal cancer lymph node metastasis, the extent of tumor invasive and TNM stages. Conclusions: The CXCR7 is highly expressed in colorectal cancer, which is closely related to the colorectal cancer lymph node metastasis and TNM stages. CXCR7 may be involved in the occurrence and progression of colorectal cancer.
