| Objective To investigate 3D arterial spin labeling(ASL) MR perfusion imaging in the quantitatively evaluation of hemodynamic change in patients suffered from hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Materials and Methods Twenty-eight case of full-term neonates suffered from HIE(mild group n=8,moderate group n=10,severe group n=10), and 12 normal controls in 0-48 hours and 7days were performed MR T1 WI, T2 WI, DWI, SWI and 3D ASL examination. Cerebral blood flow(CBF) color maps were obtained using Mevislab ASL package and ImageJ, and CBF values of bilateral basal ganglia and corona radiate were calculated. Results CBF values in all patients were significant decreased in basal ganglia at 0-48 h hours postnatal timepoint, especially in sere group, when compared with normal controls. At 7 day timepoint, CBF of severe group were deceased in basal ganglia, while CBF of the moderate and mild group increased compared with normal controls. CBF values in moderate and severe group patients were significant decreased in corona radiate at 0-48 h hours postnatal timepoint, when compared with normal controls, while CBF of the moderate and severe group increased compared with 0-48 h timepoint. There was no significance difference of CBF in corona radiate in 48 h and 7 day. Conclusion For the evaluation of dynamic blood perfusion in HIE, 3D ASL has high value in clinical and experimental application. |
