Objective:By combining the traditional Chinese medicine constitution and western medicine’s research on ovarian cancer based on microscopic factors, this paper has built a theory to explain the relationships among Chinese traditional medicine constitution, microscopic factors and ovarian cancer. It is believed that can help to gain more knowledge about the mechanism of the incidence of ovarian cancer. Furthermore, this paper will provide advices on how to make constitutional adjustable theory more exercisable.Method:Firstly, by using literature research method, theoretical basis of this paper has been built. And then, by using intermediary mechanism research method, this paper has built a concept model of microscopic factors intermediary mechanism, which is used to interpret the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine constitution and ovarian cancer. Secondly, by using TCM constitution classification and decision table,34 ovarian cancer patients’ constitutional data and their CA 199 & CA 125 have been collected during March to October in the year 2015 in the Third Affiliated Hospital gynecology ward. Thirdly, by simplifying the concept model, this paper uses the questions in the TCM constitution classification and decision table as independent variables, and builds measurement model 1 and model 2. CA199 is used as dependent variable in measurement model 1, while CA125 is used as dependent variable in measurement model 2. To analysis these two measurement models and the variables, this paper has brought in SPSS as the tool to deal with the data.Result:1. The result of the constitutional types’analysis is shown as follow:8 person-times gain the score of yang asthenia constitution less than 30, while other 26 person-times gain more than 50.24 person-times gain the score of yin asthenia constitution less than 30, while other 10 person-times gain more than 30.15 person-times gain the score of qi asthenia constitution less than 30, while other 19 person-times gain more than 30.25 person-times gain the score of phlegm-dampness constitution less than 30, while other 9 person-times gain more than 30.28 person-times gain the score of damp-heat constitution less than 30, while other 6 person-times gain more than 30.22 person-times gain the score of blood stasis constitution less than 30, while other 12 person-times gain more than 30.33 person-times gain the score of allergic constitution less than 30, while other 1 person-times gain more than 40.15 person-times gain the score of qi stagnation constitution less than 30, while other 19 person-times gain more than 30. None of the patients meet the classification score of yin-yang harmony constitution.2. The result of the two measurement models’ regression analysis is shown as follow: As to model 1, the adjust R square is 0.999, statistic F is 879.420, significant level is 0.025, which is less than 0.05, meaning that the fitting degree of the model 1 is acceptable. Tolerance analysis reveals that multicollinearity exists in model 1, which leads to part of the independent variables are significant, part of them are not significant, and still part of them are eliminated from model 1. As to measurement model 2, the adjust R square is 0.682, statistic F is 3.216, significant level is 0.419, which is more than 0.05, meaning that the fitting degree of the model 2 is not acceptable. Tolerance analysis reveals that multicollinearity exists in model 2, and none of the independent variables’ regression coefficients is significant.3. As to measurement model 1, by eliminating the independent variables that may cause multicollinearity and insignificant of the regression coefficients, this paper has built adjust measurement model 1. Then, the regression analysis is used to test model 1 again. As to adjust measurement model 1, the adjust R square is 0.819, statistic F is 10.327, significant level is 0.000, which is less than 0.05, meaning that the fitting degree of the adjust model 1 is acceptable. Furthermore, the regression coefficients of adjust model 1 are all significant.Conclusion:1. The statistic result of the 34 ovarian cancer patients’ traditional Chinese medicine score has confirmed the idea that composite constitution is widespread existence. It is shown that although the patients get higher score in yang asthenia constitution, other biased constitution’s scores are also high enough to be determined.2. By analyzing the available data, it is proved in this paper that the microscopic factor may act as partial intermediary role between the relationships of traditional Chinese medicine constitution and ovarian cancer. It is argued that certain type of traditional Chinese medicine constitutions may correlate to ovarian cancer; however, the complex of the ovarian cancer is hard to be total explained by traditional Chinese medicine constitution.3. The values and positive and negative of the correlations in the adjust measurement model 1 have helped to bring out a possible way to make constitutional adjustable theory and the assessment of constitutional adjustment more feasible and operable.
