| Background: Asthma is a chronic disease and has high incidence in pediatric clinic.Although most of the children can be controlled effectively but some can not be cured. How to improve the clinical effect of asthma has become a hot clinical research.Inhaled glucocorticoids is the first drug to treat asthma and has accurate effect on asthma children of persistent asthma. It has been included inrecommended medicine of global asthma control strategy. The study was conducted to understand the immune function changes after glucocorticoid treatment through the deep analysis of IgE、TNF-α、IL-8、IL-17、LTB4level changes of glucocorticoid patients. Objective: To observe the levels of serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-8(IL-8),leukotrienes B4(LTB4)and interleukin 17(IL-17)in asthma children. And discuss the regulation effect of long-term inhaled glucocorticoids on the levels of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17.Methods: The blood of 30 cases of acute asthma,20 cases of asthma remission and10 cases of healthy control children who were treated in our hospital from March 2010 to March 2012 were collected,The levels of serum IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 were determined by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).And children with asthma treated with glucocorticoid inhalation were observed for one year,The level of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 were detected and comparatively analysed.Result: The level of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 in the acute group and remission group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the level of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 in the acute group were significantly higher than those of the remission group too.The levels of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 in acute group were decreased gradually after inhaling glucocorticoids for 3 months(all P<0.05);treatment for 6 and 12 months can reduce the level of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17 as compared with those before the treatment and treatment for 3 month. And there were no significant change between treatment for 12 months and control group. Conclusions: IgE 、TNF-α 、IL-8 、LTB4 、 IL-17 involve in the pathologeic process of children asthma,Long-term inhaled glucocorticoid is an important method for asthma, and the effect is related to the decrease of the levels of IgE,TNF-α,IL-8,LTB4,IL-17. |
