Objectives:To investigate the elderly over 60 years old of gastrointestinal bleeding of causes and clinical features and related factors of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,with retrospective analysis method to summarizes and studies and discusses the disease epidemiological characteristics,etiology and pathogenesis occurrence regularity,characteristicsymptoms and traditional Chinese medicinesyndrome differentiation treatment,and the formation of a certain understanding of the disease from and to provide some reference for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in the elderly.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 173 cases with conditions on digestive road hemorrhage hospitalized patients,screening of patients with gastrointestinal bleeding from the XXhospital of XXuniversity of traditional Chinese medicine from Sept.2012 to Sept.2015 was first diagnosed,and collect the age,gender,inducement,symptom,sign,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type,treatment and prognosis data and according to the counting and measurement data were statistical analysis,at this stage of the elderly upper gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with clinical data,diagnosis and treatment were summarized,hope help for diagnosis and treatment.Results:1?Mostly male patients with gastrointestinal bleeding in 173 elderly patients with upper gastrointestinal,male to female ratio was 2.93:1,the average age of 72.53±7.92 years;2?The elderly patients of upper gastrointestinal bleeding were concentrated in January?September?December;3?The elderly patients of upper gastrointestinal bleeding with the common cause of peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer(DU),gastric ulcer(GU),complex ulcer(CU),followed by the common gastric cancer(GC),esophageal varices(EGV);The elderly patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding without apparent inducement and major causes of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for common,followed by eating unclean;4?The elderly patients of upper gastrointestinal bleeding with hematemesis and black for the main symptoms,followed by dizziness,palpitations,fatigue,cold sweatthe highest frequency,followed by symptoms of nausea,belching,bloating,heartburn,vomiting,shortness of breath,anorexia,export;tongue and pulse in pale tongue,moss thin white veinlets.5?the elderly upper digestive tract hemorrhage syndromes are mainly qi deficiency,qi deficiency and blood overflow does not contain the most common syndrome;6?Upper gastrointestinal bleeding in the elderly is mainly based on O type blood;7?Decoction of Chinese medicine mainly Guipi Decoction,followed by Xiexin decoction;clinical anti acid drugs mainly in the esomeprazole,accounted for 82.7%;followed by pantoprazole sodium based,accounted for 14.5%;hemostatic drug use frequency was 49.1%.31 cases of the use of Yunnan Baiyao,40 cases with 14 cases using haemocoagulase;94 cases of the use of decoction,clinical dialectical theory of governance.8?In this study,134 cases were cured,28 cases markedly effective in 4 cases,the total cure rate was 96.0%,7 cases of death,the mortality rate was 4%;Conclusions: The elderly upper gastrointestinal bleeding incidence in males;seasonal in autumn and winter;non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is a major cause of the disease,and its the main cause of peptic ulcer,which to duodenal ulcer;main symptoms as melena and hematemesis,syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine mainly to deficiency of intake and deficiency of qi and blood spill card based,traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of multi to qi,blood,hemostatic mainly;decoction of Chinese medicine mainly Guipi decoction,followed by Xiexin decoction.
