Application Of Myocardial Performance Index To Assess Right Ventircle Function In Patients With Systemic LuPus Erythematosus

Objective: To exPlore the clinical value of tissue DoPPler Myocardial Performance index in assessing right ventircle function in Patients with systemic luPus erythematosus.Methods: There were 40 SLE Patients who are treated in the Xingtai PeoPle HosPital from SePtember 2013 to January 2015.The 40 SLE Patients were divided into two grouPs according to the PASP measured by echocardiograPhy:SLE-Ⅰwas 23 Patients with PASP≤30 mmHg,SLE-Ⅱwas 17 Patients with PASP>30 mmHg.30 healthy subjects were involved as control grouP.All inductees left lateral Position,left anterior chest was fully exPosed,and kePt quiet breath.Conventional echocardiograPh study(dimensional,color and doPPler)was Performed on all Patients and right atrium transverse diameter(RATD),right ventricle transverse diameter(RVTD),right ventricular free wall thickness(RVWT)were measured.Then took the standard four-chamber view,in the tissue DoPPler mode,adjusted the samPling frame size,Placed samPle volume in the junction of right ventricular free wall and anterior tricus Pid valve leaflet,adjusted the angle to make the samPling line and the right ventricular long axis be as consistent as Possible,Recording tricusPid annular motion sPectrum in the tissue DoPPler mode and measuring the isovolumic relaxation(IRT),isovolumic contraction(ICT),ejection time(ET),then calculating the Myocardial Performance index.SPSS 19.0 statistical software was aPPlied for statistical analysis.ANOV was used to comPare the Myocardial Performance indexes in the three grouPs,and LSD-t was used to com Pare the indexes between the two grouPs.A linear correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between the Myocardial Performance indexes in Patients with SLE and the course of disease.Results: There were no significant difference of sex,age,body mass index,height,weight,heart rate and body surface area between SLE Patients and control grouP(P>0.05).There were no significant difference of RATD,RVTD and RVWT between SLE-Ⅰand the control grouP(P>0.05).The RATD and RVTD of SLE-ⅡPatients were bigger statistically than those of the control and SLE-ⅠgrouP9(P<0.05).The RVWT of SLE-Patients were Ⅱthinner statistically than those of the control and SLE-ⅠgrouP(P<0.05).The right ventircle Myocardial Performance index of SLE-Patients were higher Ⅱstatistically than those of the control grouP(P<0.05).The right ventircle Myocardial Performance index of SLE-ⅠPatients were higher statistically significantly than those of the control grouP(P<0.01).The right ventircle Myocardial Performance index of SLE-ⅡPatients were higher statistically than those of the SLE-ⅠPatients.There was Positive correlation between the right ventircle Myocardial Performance index of SLE Patients and the course of the disease(r=0.974,P<0.01).Conclusions: Myocardial Performance index could reflect the change of right ventricular function of SLE Patients sensitively,which was a good index in evaluating the whole right ventricular function,Providing valuable information for diagnose and Prognosis.
