Fracture,bone defect,and bone nonunion resulting from various reasons like infection and trauma are always being medical problems threatening human life and health.Some diseases we usually meet in the clinical like tibia or scaphoid nonunion haven’t been found specific medicine to treat,They often need secondary and multiple surgeries to achieve an ideal effect.It brings new ideas and future prospects for treating delayed union and bone defect that the fracture healing was accelerating after traumatic brain injury(TBI)and around the fracture area occurred hypertrophic and hyperplastic callus.After studying the relevance of traumatic brain injury and enhancing osteogenesis,scholars have found a series of physiological reactions led by traumatic brain injury played a key role in accelerating fracture healing.In this paper,the domestic and foreign literatures about brain injury associated with fracture in recent 20 years were searched,aiming to review the research progress about the mechanism of accelerating fracture healing after TBI.
