The Short-Term Effect Analysis Of Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy And Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass For Obesity And Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM) In China

Objective: To investigate the Short-Term Effect Analysis of Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy and Laparoscopic gastric bypass for obesity and type 2 diabetes(T2DM) in China.Method: Literatures about the effect of LSG and LGB in treatment the obesity and type 2 diabetes in China form Pub Med,CNKI and Wan Fang, set up the criteria of inclusive and exclusion to filter literature, then assess the quality of literature, collecting data and data analysis.Result: Total number of literatures is 10,one hundred and nineteen cases of LSG were retrieved from 6 literatures; two hundred and fifty-four cases of LGB were retrieved from 6 literatures.The Body mass index(BMI)in 3rd month after LGB was lower than the pre-operation(MD=1.44,CL:1.00~1.89,P=0.01). The BMI in 3rd month after LSG was lower than the pre-operation(MD=1.91,CL:1.59~2.22,P<0.00001).The fasting plasma glucose(FPG)in 3 month after LGB was lower than the pre-operation(MD=2.75,CL:1.59~3.90,P<0.00001),the FPG in 6th month after LGB wasn’t appreciably lower than the FPG in 3rd month after LGB(MD=0.50,CL:-0.06~1.07,P=0.08). The glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) in 3rd month after LGB was lower than the pre-operation(MD=1.73,CL:1.23~2.22,P<0.00001),and the Hb A1 c in 6th month after LGB was lower than the Hb A1 c in 3rd month after LGB(MD=0.16,CL:0.03~0.29,P=0.02).The FPG in 3rd month after LSG was lower than the pre-operation( MD=2.98, CL : 2.29~3.67,P<0.00001),the FPG in 6th month after LSG was lower than the FPG in 3rd month after LSG(MD=0.58,CL:0.06~1.10,P=0.03). The Hb A1 c in 3rd month after LSG was lower than the pre-operation(MD=1.98,CL:1.38~2.59,P<0.00001),and the Hb A1 c in 6th month after LSG was lower than the Hb A1 c in 3rd month after LSG(MD=0.73,CL:0.14~1.31,P=0.01). The BMI of cases with LGB and LSG was a gradual downward trend.After the LGB, the FPG in 3rd month after LGB has significantly reduce, and then it wasn’t appreciably lower. The FPG and the Hb A1 c of cases with LSG was a gradual downward trend.Conclusions: In China the LGB and the LSG has obviously short-term weight reduction and hypoglycemic effect in the treatment of obesity and T2DM...
