Lodging is one of the important factors restricting rice production,and it is of great practical significance to explore the methods and measures to improve the lodging resistance and to stabilize rice yield.In order to study the effect on lodging resistance,yield and illuminate the mechanism of increasing lodging resistance of rice with different silicon potassium treatments,using the sensitive variety B You 827 as experimental material,with randomized block design,though comparing the difference among lodging index,stem physical properties,chemical composition,anatomical structure and yield,which will provide certain theoretical support about the comprehensive evaluation and cultivation technology research in lodging resistance.Results indicate that(1)Silicon potassium treatments could significantly increased the flexural strength of each internode,and reduced lodging index,at the same time,the effect of improving lodging resistance was best in B You 827(bending force was largest and lodging index was minimum)with T2(silicon fertilizer 300 kg/hm~2,potash 400kg/hm~2)treatment.(2)silicon potassium treatments could significantly increased the basal internode stem diameter and wall thickness,shortened internode length.In comparison with contrast,internode length decreased by12.44%-20.80%,as well as,the diameter and wall thickness increased by 2.82%-5.76%and 5.76%-22.95%respectively with low silicon middle potassium treatment(T2).(3)silicon potassium treatments can significantly affect large vascular bundle area,xylem area of large vascular bundle,phloem area of large vascular bundle,small vascular bundle area,xylem area of small vascular bundle,small vascular bundle,phloem area of small vascular bundle.Effect on of large or small vascular bundles under silicon potassium treatments was different.(4)The cellulose,lignin and ash content of each basal internode significant changed under silicon potassium collocation application.Lignin content of basal internode was the highest with T2 treatment,increasing by 14.55%and 8.67%,7.73%respectively.(5)The potassium content and the silicon content of each internode in B You 827 were significantly affected by the silicate potassium treatment.The potassium content in different internodes was different,and showed as N2>N3>N4.The effect on the silicon and potassium content in the basal internodes was different,and the content of silicon and potassium with T2 treatment was the highest.(6)Silicon potash combination treatment(T1-T6)to have a certain influence on the yield and yield components.Due to the mutual restriction relation between the yield components.So yield eventually with silicon potassium treatments was higher than that of CK,increased 0.007%-0.32%,but the difference was not significant.It is shown that the application of silicon fertilizer can not only improve yield but also enhance the resistance of the plant.So reasonable ratio of silicon potassium fertilizer could not only significantly increased the basal internode stem diameter and wall thickness,shortened internode length,improved chemical composition(cellulose,lignin,ash,silicon,and potassium content),improved the flexural strength,but also can improved its basal internode bundle features,eventually improved lodging resistance and yield.
