Decayed dry pest in beetles has numerous hosts, with long life cycle in concealed place, therefore,it is difficult to prevent and control, having attracted attention of scholars in the field. There are various defects in existing prevention and control methods for cerambycidae, the biggest problem is pollution and resistance.Accordingly,it is imperative to develop pesticide characterized by low toxicity, environmental protection and free pollution so as to prevent and control cerambycidae,it is of theoretical and practical significance to make research oriented toward this respect. The research takes two types of pesticides namely tebufenozide and chlorbenzuron together with Anoplophora chinensis(Forester);Apriona germari(Hope);Apriona swainsoni(Hope)as subjects of research. The experiment includes field investigation, artificial feeding, and influence of pesticides on foraging, life and number of eggs of adult of Apriona swainsoni(Hope)and influence of pesticide on enzyme in vivo of larva, change in growth condition of larva after treatment by pesticide as well as field experiment,in which the main methods adopted contain trapping, indoor determination, enzyme mark and field verification etc.The experiment is able to screen environmentally friendly pesticide having better effect on cerambycidae. The research shows that tebufenozide has influence on egg laying and life of beetles to a certain extent, its anti-feeding to tebufenozide is higher than that to chlorbenzuron. To research the influence of tebufenozide and chlorbenzuron on the physiological mechanism of Apriona swainsoni(Hope),A.swainsoni larvae were fed with sawdust treated by chlorbenzuron(T1)and tebufenozide(T2).These were then sampled to determine enzymatic activity of catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione S transferases(GSTs),and carboxylesterase(CarE)in larvae at intervals of 12 h for up to 72 h in succession. Results showed that after treatment with chlorbenzuron, the enzymatic activity of CAT increased frist and then decreased 24 h later.Enzymatic activity of SOD maintained a high level. Also, after treatment by tebufenozide, the enzymatic activity of CAT decreased frist with enzymatic activity of SOD being higher than the control. After treatment by two types of the pesticides enzymatic activity of GSTs was higher than the control with no differences between enzymatic activity of CarE and the control. Therefore, enzymatic activity of GSTs in A.swainsoni was assumed to be associated with resistance generated in the larva and was likely to be a resistance marker of the larvae.Indoor test on larvae shows that beetles in control group is on the slight decrease in body weight in growing process and that the beetles in chlorbenzuron group is on the increase in body weight and that beetles in tebufenozide group remains unchanged in body weight within certain period.Field test shows that the method to prevent and control beetles by trunk injection of tebufenozide and chlorbenzuron has gained effect, being feasible to a certain extent. It is advisable to promote the method in a tentative way.
