Preparation Of Functional Chromium-Rich Organic Fertilizer Using Chrome Leather And Its Effect On Plant Growth

In the paper,chromium-rich organic fertilizer was prepared by using chrome shaving as raw material.And the efficiency of fertilizer was carried out in buckwheat and rice.Detailed study was carried out by the following aspects:(1)Chromium-rich organic fertilizer was prepared by using chrome shaving as raw material.The results showed that organic material is 52.43%,total nutrient is 10.88%,moisture content is 18.7%,and chromium content is 0.88%,which are accordanced with the national requirements of organic fertilizer indicators.Based on the higher chromium content,the fertilizer can be used as a new type of functional organic fertilizer.(2)The new functional fertilizer was used in the buckwheat and rice system.It is found that the new functional fertilizer can obviously improve the soil quality and the plant quality compared with the blank group.In the buckwheat system,the new functional fertilizer can significantly improve the soil available nutrient and organic matter content,and the chromium content can be controlled in the scope of the soil environmental quality standards.When the amount of fertilizer was 1 kg/m2,the average N uptake of buckwheat kernel increased to 6.89 kg/hm2,the average absorption of P2O5 increased to 4.30 kg/hm2,and the average absorption of K2 O increased to 1.79 kg/hm2.The average nutrient uptake of buckwheat increased to 18.52 kg/hm2,the average absorption of total phosphorus increased to 19.75 kg/hm2,and the average absorption of total potassium increased to 13.90 kg/hm2.Under the same fertilization amount,the effect of new functional fertilizer and soybean meal on buckwheat yield,harvest index and physiological efficiency was not significantly different.In the rice system,the yield of rice treated with new functional fertilizers was 65.84% higher than that of the blank group,which was 46.93% and 34% higher than that of the soybean meal fertilizer group and the probiotic fertilizer group respectively.The results indicate the new functional fertilizer has obviously increased the production effect.And also the new functional fertilizer has a certain effect on the increase in the content of trivalent chromium in buckwheat and rice grains in the 1ppm range,which is stipulated in the Limits of Contaminants in Food.The new functional fertilizer can significantly increase plant yield and functional substance content.The new functional fertilizer has improved the available nutrients and organic matter in the soil.The new functional fertilizer can also increase the chromium content in plant kernels and improve its hypoglycemic function.
