Panax ginseng C.A.Mey is one of the medicinal species from the family of Araliaceae and the roots are used medicinally which has high medicinal value,meanwhile demand for ginseng market.It mainly distributed in the northeast of China,and its industry plays a leading role to the development of local economy.The traditional pattern of deforestation to plant ginseng is not friendly to the environment,and this pattern has been gradually replaced by farmland-planted ginseng.The yield of farmland-planted ginseng is low,and the ginseng diseases is serious,have been restricted the development of the industry.These problems have close relation with the soil which the ginseng planted.Previous studies have found that soil moisture content plays a key role to ginseng.Albic soil is the main soil type in the region of Changbai mountain,and but the research for how its moisture content to influence the soil and growth and development of ginseng is not enough.Therefore,it is the starting point of this research,the soil moisture content is controlled through the potted method,the physical and chemical of soil and biological character is determined,combining the growth and quality index of ginseng,to study the albic soil moisture how influence the ginseng.The results were as follows:1.The physical and chemical properties of soil are an important index of soil fertility evaluation affecting the plant to absorb nutrients,photosynthesis,and other aspects.Through the analysis of the conventional soil physical and chemical properties,we can know that: When soil moisture content 40% of field capacity,pH of soil was low,high degree of acidification,the soil electrical conductivity was high,salinization was serious.When at 80%,lower soil bulk density,total porosity was larger.2.Microorganisms is an important part of soil microbial ecology,it plays an irreplaceable role in contact with soil and plant.The microbial metabolic functional diversity of soil was determined by Biolog.The results showed that: the soil microbial metabolic functional diversity was studied by Biolog under different moisture contents.The results showed that the AWCD was closely related to the soil moisture content,AWCD value,the greater the same species richness index and carbon source utilization richness index was significantly higher than low water treatment.Among them,esters carbon source was the most using by the albic soil,followed by amino acids and alcohols.3.The activity and biomass of microbial is closely related to soil fertility.Microbial cellulose decomposition,respiration and microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen are determined by burying,alkali titration to absorb carbon and chloroform fumigation,respectively.The results showed that: The moisture content affected the microbial respiration and decomposition of cellulose.When the soil moisture content was high,the intensity of microbial respiration and decomposition was stronger.4.Soil enzymes are an important part of the micro-ecosystem of soil,and they play an important role promoting the transformation of nutrients and energy cycle.Soil enzyme is an important index to evaluate the soil fertility.The main activities of soil enzyme are measured by conventional light spectrophotometry and titration method.The results showed that: The activity of soil enzyme was affected by the moisture content,different activities under different influence degrees.Urease,protease and sucrase were positive significantly with moisture content.But the catalase and acid phosphatase were not significant with the moisture content.5.Yield and quality of ginseng is one of the important indices for evaluation of ginseng.The main active ingredient content is determined by HPLC.The results showed that: The biomass of ginseng was increased with the moisture content increasing.The low soil moisture was useful for the accumulation the Rb1,Re and Rg1,but should not affect the content of total saponin.
