Influences Of Four Factors On Cutting Propagation Of Potted Rose Chinensis Minima

The trend of ornamental flower developing in the world has gradually turn to potted and miniature flower.Miniature rose is favored by its unique shape,flowering throughout the year,convenient transportation and easy combination.But the problems of miniature rose plants has becoming more and more obvious,such as short and compact plant type,short branches,thin stems,fewer internodes,less effective cuttings,higher requirements for cutting environment,difficult survival of cuttings and low survival rate.There are 5 potted miniature roses(’Sunny Star’、’Pink Star’、’Sweet Star’、’Hippie Star’、’Snow Star’)as experimental materials,through randomized block test of two factors and multilevel.The aim is to explore the cuttings impact of different rooting medias,types and concentrations of hormones,position effect and cutting period on cuttage propagation of potted miniature rose;the 6 rooting characters(rootingrate,rooting time,root length,the longest root length,root number,root effect index)and the results of transplanting seedling characters(seedling time,transplanting survival rate,stem diameter,axillary bud length,internode number and chlorophyll content),then use multiple comparative analysis to investigate the effects of varieties,factors,varieties and factors.The results follow:(1)Different substrate ratio and different varieties have significant differences.The best medium formula for variety cuttage of 5 miniature rose is Peat:Perlite =3:1(volume ratio).The highest survival rate of miniature rose is "Hippie Star",short rooting time(20.67 d),high rooting rate(80.67%),and strong rooting ability.(2)The rooting rate,the rooting ability and the time of rooting of the cuttings were increased significantly under the hormone treatment.Under the different concentrations of IB A treatment,the root increased first and then decreased with the increasing of concentration.500 mg/L IBA solution was most suitable for ’Pink Star’ and ’Sweet Star’ and ’Snow Star’ 3 potted miniature rose cuttings,250 mg/L solution was most suitable for ’Hippie Star’ potted miniature rose,250/250 mg/L IBA/NAA mixture was most suitable for ’Sunny Star’ potted miniature rose.(3)Different cutting position has different impacts on survival ratio.Intermediate cutting position has the best effect on all varieties,then the base and the top.Potted miniature rose of"Hippie Star" was the most prominent among the 5 species.(4)The Effects of different cutting periods on cutting for miniature rose varieties show that temperature and humidity are the main factors on rooting cutting.July is the most suitable month for potted miniature rose cutting,short rooting time,high rooting rate,rapid seedling time,high content of chlorophyll.
