As a kind of commonly used spatial data for forestry data management,the new challenges are brought.Moreover,the consistency problem of forest sub-compartment boundary is a basic requirement of the spatial data quality evaluation,which is an important part of consistency to ensure the production of vector data.However,in this study,we provide a set of automated methods for exploring and repairing the boundary of forest land,so as to improve the quality of spatial data and reduce the cost of forestry data management.Firstly,this paper reports an investigation into the existing inconsistency algorithm.It is found that mainly research direction is repair methods and is not an automatic boundary inconsistency problem solutions.This paper analyzes the causes of the inconsistency of the boundary for sub-compartment and summarizes the forms of the inconsistency,including crack,overlap,disjoint,gap and mixed type.The advantages and disadvantages of the above inconsistent types are compared by GIS software.The gap type and the disjoint type can be detected,which has been bad visualization expression.It is increased the difficulty for the repair.Subsequently,this paper proposes an algorithm for detecting and repairing the boundary inconsistency for sub-compartment.In the part of the exploration algorithm,using DE-9IM model to detect the crack type and overlap type.The gap type algorithm in order to improve the computational efficiency when merging polygon by zero buffering algorithm.The exploration method and DE-9IM model combined with the use of phase type and Gap type probe,finally through these methods to determine the inconsistency of the boundary position for visual observation.In the part of the repair algorithm,this paper divides the processing of the boundary inconsistency into two cases.That is,the boundary of the sub-compartment from different layers and in the same layer.Inconsistent boundary node number of standardized treatment for different layers.For the different layers,the paper adopts the coparty missions derived by the least square method and transmission law to finish node capture formula and error estimation.The position of the new boundary is more close to the geographical edge with higher position precision before the correction.For the same layer of sub-compartment boundary consistency repair,the LOWESS regression model is used to model the sub-compartment in the layer,so as to obtain the factor score table.Based on the factor score table,we calculate the weight value for sub-compartment.At the end of this paper,various algorithms of forest sub-compartment data of Xinchang county to conduct the experiment.The zero bufferingunionalgorithm makes full sub-compartment in one layerquickly and reduce the rate of less than 1 minutes.The results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve the exploration and repair for sub-compartment boundary,and has automatic processing ability,improve the quality of forest spatial data.
