The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Artemisia argyi powder′s nutrition,nutritional value and the application effect in meat rabbits by chemical analysis,substitution,feeding test,digesting test and laboratory tests.Using chemical analysis,digestion test and substitution confirm the chemical constituents and nutritional value of Artemisia argyi powder.The study is to determine the influence of Artemisia argyi powder on rabbit by feeding test,digestion test and laboratory tests.1.The chemical constituents and nutritional value of Artemisia argyi powderThe chemical constituents of Artemisia argyi powder: GE 17.62 MJ/Kg、 DM 91.56%、CP15.70%、 EE7.29%、 Ca1.19%、 P0.28%、 ash10.35%、 CF16.64%、 NDF34.32%、ADF28.87%、ADL7.09%.The nutritional value of artemisia argyi powder:DE5.62MJ/Kg、DM 40.95%,CP 6.81%,EE 6.00%,Ca 6.81%,P 0.1197%,ash 1.73%,CF2.46%,NDF10.64%,ADF4.86%,ADL1.90%.2.The influence of Artemisia argyi powder on rabbitThe experiment uses single factor design,the experiment was randomly divided into four groups(each group of 40 rabbits,1 rabbit per replication)using35-day-old rabbits,the added content of argyi powder: 0,3%,6%,9%.The trial lasted for 7days for adaptation,and 35 days for test.The experimental results show:The average daily feed intake,average daily gain,feed conversion rate were not significantly affected by the addition of Artemisia argyi powder(P > 0.05).No significant effect was found on the apparent digestibility of CF,Ca,P(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in the apparent digestibility of EE(P<0.01).No effects of apparent digestibility of DE,CP,DM were observed(P > 0.05),but there was a tendency to reduce its apparent digestibility.The nitrogen metabolism not significantly affected by the addition of Artemisia argyi powder(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in the drip loss and degree of red of muscle(P<0.01).There was a significant effect on brightness of muscle(P<0.05).No effects of the weight of stamoch and cecum were observed(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in the lengthof the small intestine and vermiform appendix(P < 0.01),Artemisia argyi powder can significantly increase its length.No effects of villus height of small intestine were observed(P > 0.05),but Artemisia argyi powder reduced the crypt depth,increased the ratio of villus height to crypt depth(V/C).The expression level of occludin of small intestine was not significantly affected by the addition of Artemisia argyi powder(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in the expression level of ZO-1 of jejunum(P<0.01),Artemisia argyi powder can significantly increase the expression level of ZO-1 of jejunum.There were significant differences in the expression level of claudin1 of jejunum and ileum(P<0.05).There was a significant effect on the expression level of ZO-1 of ileum(P<0.05).
