The Design And Research Of Apple Planting Expert System Based On Android Mobile Phone

Systematically analyzing the apple growing business, we design an Apple Planting Expert System based on the Android mobile phone. This system is convenient for grassroots personnel, especially it can provide Apple planting knowledge to the agricultural growers which is not limited by time and place.Apple is widely popular in the world, China's planting area and total production in the world is in a leading position, but the apple industry's information technology is relatively backward.In the guidance of the traditional way, farmers lack independent learning conditions so that it is difficult to popularize and apply of Apple planting technology. Android is an open source operating system, it iscost-effective of buying an Android mobile phone, and there are much advantage in the human-computer interaction, the utilization rate of android phone in the farmers groups is high. So we design an Apple Planting Expert System based on the Android mobile phone which can be as good learning mediafor farmers.The main content of this paper:(1) The content, we systematically collect the factors in the process of the fruft planting, such as the temperature and humidity of air and soil including other environmental factors, species selection, flower management, and postharvest storage management etc. We design three modules:Soil nutrition analysis and improvement, diseases and pest prevention and control system, trimming and shaping.(2) The structure, it mainly includes three parts, such as Android mobile client, remote Web server and client server communication.(3) The function, on the one hand, farmers should register personal information that they can browse the information of Apple planting business in the client; on the other hand, farmers can upload the live information of orchardand communicate with the remote experts and technicians. Ultimately the system can achieve the goals ofactive learning of Apple planting business knowledge according to the needs and exchanging the information with the experts. It can also push the farmers to participate in the basic research of apple planting. This system is an open system, which can be updated and improved at any time.The Apple Planting Expert System based on the Android mobile phone, which is designed innovatively to apply the apple growing information technology on the mobile smart devices, effectively solves the concern problems of the farmers. Becausethe advantages ofintelligent and portability of the Android mobile phone, the system is easily popularization and application and has important meaning and function for apple industry informatization.
