| China is one of the countries with the most abundant forage germplasm resources in the world.We established a number of institutions to collect and save the forage germplasm resources.The Ministry of Agriculture also attaches great importance to forage seed collection and management.To this end,it established national forage germplasm resources library.They collected a large number of forage seeds from each of the cities and counties nationwide.Due to various regions have different personnel plant recognition level,this led to the emergence of a large number of misidentifications.In addition,there are many different kinds of grass seed,morphological features can be used is relatively few,reference to the information is relatively poor.The work carried out together more difficult at the grassroots level testing of structures,it can not be applied to actual production work.At present,identification of forage germplasm resources in-depth system is relatively lack,it can not take full advantage,so in this regard it has great potential.Therefore,the rapid identification and selection and use of forage germplasm resources imminent,in order to pick out a lot of forage seeds can be directly utilized,produce a large number of new species to meet the needs of production.This study aimed at 340 portions and 52 genera of gramineous grasses caryopsis were consolidated and taxonomic studies about national forage germplasm resources library.Our results showed that the national forage germplasm resources library could have grasses seeds of 292 species.First,after a thorough examination of relevant literatures,we checked some specimens of Henan Agricultural University Herbarium(HEAC)and collected some living plants.,using dissecting microscope,the caryopsis materials were morphologically observated and taken pictures.We found 30-species were erroneously identified,etc,Agrostis micrantha Steud.,Elymus breviaristatus(Keng)Keng f.and Roegneria ciliaris(Trin.)Nevski.In this study,we estimated some caryopsis morphological characters,such as size,color,shape,belly shape,hilum shape,the end result with or without hair,with or without style group,the degree of fruits difficulty parted for inside and outside lemma and glumes,this can be distinguished genus or even species,and can become a basis for classification to identify forage seeds quikly.This study shows that no single trait can not be the main basis for division of genus or even species.Fruit size variation width is relatively stable and conservative,but its comparable size is also cross-section,so the size of the fruits is practicable for the classification of the fruits in Gramineae,but not as the main basis for classification.Although the color of the caryopsis is different,however,because of the maturity is not the same,so the color also has only a certain reference value.The fruit shapes are not the same,but there are also groups in the shape of the overlapping portion,and the shape of the fruit is difficult to use language to express,simply relying on caryopsis characteristics distinguish more difficult,so we must rely on other traits.Therefore,to achieve all the characters complement each other.Finally,with these traits,caryopsis characteristics of each genus described,and one by one description of each caryopsis fruit characteristics,and prepared a list of the retrieval for each genus and related species,and divided genus and species were more meaningful,and erroneously identified species were revised.This study use anatomical lens to observe.It is convenient to cities and counties grassroots people on identification and characterization of caryopsis characteristics,make work sound and rapid development.It has high practical value and significance of application.Moreover,it can also give full play to the potential value for the inventory of national forage germplasm resources library.make it play a greater role in the construction of grass,forage development,management of ecological environment,etc.This study not only provide important information and scientific basis for our country to collect and protect of forage germplasm resources in a planned and purposeful way.And for the development of excellent new varieties in our country,the forage seeds and forage production and play a dominant position in the market competition,it plays a very important strategic significance.This provides the basis for fully exploiting the use of forage germplasm resources and breeding,and it provide important guidance for forage germplasm resources in scientific collection,effective protection,identification and evaluation,zoning planting,it can make greater contributions for forage germplasm resources. |
