Wannan three-yellow chicks is the quality of local varieties in Anhui,because of its meat and eggs are delicious and fragrant.It has wide adaptability and disease res istance and other characteristics,and favored by br eeders and consumers.Therefore,through to research on dietary metabolizable energy(ME)and(CP)nutritional requirem ents of brooding,growing and laying periods W annan three-yellow chicks.According to the weight,body weight and egg pr oduction,the set up three growth stag e of ME and CP nutritional requirement calculation formula.Expectation is to provide scientific guidance for Wannan three-yellow chicks.Experiment 1.Research on ME and CP requirements of brooding female Wannan three-yellow chicks.This experiment was conducted to study the requirements of ME and CP of brooding female Wannan three-yellow chicks.384 1-da y-old female Wannan three-yellow chicks were randomly divided into four feed levels wi th four replicates of 16 chicks,16 chicks were arranged in a random ized design.Feed le vels were as follows: level1 = ad libitum consumption(100%),level 2 = 80% of feed re striction,level3 = 60% of feed restriction and level 4 = 40% of feed restriction.Chicks were slaughtered at 42 th day and retained ME and retained CP were determined by the comparative slaughter method.The remaining 96 chicks were randomly distributed into 6 groups with 16 chicks fed ad libitum and every 16 chicks were separately housed in a case.For estimation of the requirement for weight gain,16 chicks were slaughtered at 7,14,21,28,35,and 42 days of experiment.According to Y = aX + b establish regression equations between ME(or CP)intake and retention,access to maintain the requirements parameters.According to Y = a X + b establish regression equations between body weight and body en ergy(or CP),access to weight g ain the requirements parameters.Total requirement = Requirem ent for m aintenance + Weight requirement.The results showed that,For brooding female Wannan three-yellow chicks,maintenance requirements of ME and CP were 389.88 kJ and 4.92 g,respectively.W eight gain requirements of ME and CP were 62.17 kJ and 0.93 g,respectively.The dietary ME and CP requirements of female Wannan three-yellow chicks during brooding period can be estimated by following form ulas: ME(kJ/d)= 389.88BW0.75+62.17△W,CP(g/d)= 4.92 BW0.75 + 0.93 △W(where BW0.75 is metabolic weight/kg,△W is ADG/g),The ME and CP daily requirements are 462.41 kJ and 6.69 g,dietary ME and CP requirements are as follows: 13.25 MJ/kg and 19.17 with the sim ilar body weigh were random ly divided into four feed levels with four replicates of 8 hens,8 chicks were arranged in a random ized design.Feed levels were as follows: level1 = ad libitum consumption(100%),level 2 = 80% of feed restriction,level3 = 60% of feed restriction and level 4 = 40% of feed restriction.Chicks were slaughtered at 63 th day and retained ME and CP was determined by the com parative slaughter method.The remaining 48 chicks were random ly distributed into 6 groups wi th 8 chicks fed ad libitum and every 8 chicks were separately housed in a case.For estim ation of estim ated by following formulas: ME(kJ/d)=357.50 BW0.75 + 64.40 △W,CP(g/d)=1.61BW0.75+1.20△W(where BW0.75 is metabolic weight/kg,△W is ADG/g),the ME and CP daily requirements are 792.30 kJ and 11.53 g,dietary ME and CP requirements are as follows: 10.06 MJ/kg and 15.42 %.Experiment 4.Research on ME and CP requirements of Wannan three-yellow chicks during laying period.This experiment was conducted to study the requirements of ME and CP of Wannan three-yellow chicks during laying period.180 160-day-old Wannan three-yellow hens with the similar body weigh were randomly divided into four feed levels with four replicates of 8 hens,2 hens were arranged in a randomized design.Feed levels were as follows: level1 = ad libitum consumption(100%),level 2 = 70% of feed restriction,level3= 50% of fee d restriction and level 4= 35% of feed restriction.Hens were slaughtered at 63 th day and retained CP and retained ME were determined by the com parative slaughter method.The remaining 48 hens were randomly distributed into 6 groups with 8 hens fed ad libitum and every 2 hens were separately housed in a case.For estim ation of the requirem ent for weight gain,8 hens were sl aughtered at 10,20,30,40,50,a nd 63 days of experim ent.According to Y=aX +b establish regression equations between ME(or CP)inta ke and retention,access to maintain the requirem ents parameters.According to Y = a X + b establish regression equations between body weight and body energy(or CP),access to weight gain the requirements parameters.Again according to the egg deposition ME(or CP)/ME(or CP)utilization of egg production,access req uirements of egg produ ction parameters.Total requirement = Requirem ent for m aintenance+Weight requirement+Laying requirement.The results showed that,For laying period Wannan three-yellow hens,maintenance requirements of ME and CP were 519.44 kJ and 4.96 g,respectively.Weight gain requirements of ME a nd CP were 28.12 kJ a nd 0.433 g,respectively.Egg production requirements of ME and CP were 20.63 kJ and 0.336 g respectively.The dietary ME and CP requirements of Wannan three-yellow laying hens can be estim ated by following formulas: ME(kJ/g)= 519.44W0.75+28.12△W+20.63 E,CP(g/d)= 4.96W0.75+ 0.433△W+ 0.336E(where W0.75 is metabolic weight/kg,△W is ADG/g and E is Eggs mass/g),the ME and CP daily requirements are 1119.37 kJ and 13.80 g,dietary ME and CP requirements are as follows: 13.25 MJ/kg and 19.17 %.
