Recently, with the rapid development of animal husbandry in Zhangqiu, the output value of animal husbandry have accounted for about 50% of the agricultural output value.In the north township, dairy and mutton sheep breeding have become a pillar industry in animal husbandry, which is constantly developing towards the direction of large-scale,intensification. Nevertheless, in recent years, with the increased liquidity and trading volume of the poultry, livestock and livestock products, especially with the frequent cow and mutton sheep trades, the infection and morbidity of some disease have showed a rising trend, including cow Brucellosis, Tuberculosis. This has brought a significant passive impact on the production and the development of animal husbandry, and also do harm to people’s health. Therefore, it is important to have a deep study on the dairy cows Brucellosis, and do well on the epidemiological investigation, as well as the measures of prevention and control. To confirm the status on the prevalence, prevention and control of dairy cows Brucellosis, we investigated and analyzed the prevalence characteristic of brucellosis, the condition of breeding, the number of professional veterinary, the measures of prevention, and the age of the cow infected with Brucellosis through the form of questionnaire. We also tested 3487 serum samples from 39 dairy farms in 9 township and1773 serum samples from 5 sheep farms through indirect ELISA, and then processed these data with biological statistic analysis. The survey results showed that the positive rate of dairy cows and sheep was 0.68% and 1.07%, respectively. This disease didn’t appear significant seasonal infection in Zhangqiu, while the infection rate was relatively higher in spring and autumn. The positive rate of this disease in intensive breeding farms was higher than that in the small scale and extensive farms. The farms which adopted prevention and control measures had a significant lower positive rate of this disease. The positive rate of this disease in bred cattle(sheep) were generally higher than that of the calf(lamb) and adult cattle(sheep). Meanwhile, we also had a compassion between several serology detecting techniques. The results showed that the sensibility of ELISA was higher than thatof allergic reaction and RBPT. To achieve the combination of screening and re-detection,we suggested two or over two kinds of methods can be combined in the later daily detection.The results of investigation and study showed that Brucellosis is one of the most important diseases which has threats to the health of human and animal. Then we should do well in comprehensive control measures, such as strengthening the publicity and education of this disease, standardizing the management and breeding of the livestock, improving the preventive immunization, and strengthening the monitoring of epidemic situation. This study provided a reference data for the sound and steady development of livestock industry,increasing the benefit of farmers and guaranteeing the quality safety of animal products.
