At this stage,the technical level of China's automobile industry is not very high,it is urgent to improve the quality and safety performance of auto parts.Hub bearing units as the key components of the car,the quality and safety of the car has an important impact.In the actual production of the hub bearing unit has a lot of quality problems,the production efficiency is not high,the production cost is high,so that the products are not competitive in the international arena,which restricted the rapid development of China's automobile industry barriers should be solved as soon as possible.According to the technical characteristics of the swing rolling riveting process of the third generation wheel hub bearing unit,the research route is determined.The main tasks include:(1)In-depth study of the theoretical basis of automobile third generation hub bearing unit swing grinding riveting process,the performance parameters of the rotary forging riveting process is analyzed in detail and theoretical calculation,finite element for the next car third generation hub bearing unit swing grinding riveting process analysis and design of roller swing riveting the machine provides a theoretical basis for.(2)Rocking riveting process track,rivet head rivet,rivet head,travel speed feed speed parameters were determined,the automobile hub bearing unit swing grinding riveting process was simulated by the DEFORM software,the third generation car hub bearing unit swing grinding riveting process of the stress and strain distribution the metal flow characteristics,rocking riveting law,through the simulation model,comparison of different angle,riveting speed,angle and speed to get the rivet head swing grinding effect of riveting,find the optimal rivet head angle and speed.(3)Firstly,the design requirements of the swing and riveting machine for the third generation wheel bearing unit of the automobile are analyzed,and then the overall design scheme of the swing roll riveting machine tool is put forward.The mechanical system,hydraulic system,electrical system and control system of the swing roll riveting machine are designed.On this basis,the prototype of swing roll riveting machine was trialmanufactured,and the prototype of machine tool was developed,and its performance was tested.The experimental results meet the design requirements of the product.(4)In order to verify the conclusions of the simulation analysis,the optimization parameters of the simulation analysis were applied to the swing roll riveting machine,and the rolling bearing riveting of the hub bearing unit was carried out by actual operation.The products were processed by slicing,and the metallographic structure analysis was carried out.The high load test was carried out on the hub bearing unit.Through a series of experiments,the conclusion can meet the design and use requirements of the product.
