The rapid urbanization process of China has brought a boom of construction of pedestrian street.Today,commercial pedestrian area has become one of the most popular and the most crowded public places in a city,especially during holidays.Intensive population brings vitality as well as security risk to pedestrian streets.To ensure safty of those pedestrian streets,safe,rapid,scientific evacuation strategis and reasonable space layout are needed,and that will be the key to reduce disaster losses.In this research,I analyzed the relevant data of a large number of commercial blocks at home and abroad,summarizing its spatial organization characteristics,scale characteristics,location characteristics,emergency types and related norms.I drew a typical pedestrian commercial street plan.Also,an abstract evacuation plane model is established in Netlogo by introducing the typical plan into Netlogo software with assigning the corresponding attributes to the channel,boundary,node and exit of the business district.In addition,I also analyzed the characteristics of evacuation behavior,which is influenced by the route selection,the surrounding pedestrian density and pedestrian distribution.Evacuation path selection is mainly affected by the surrounding environment,pedestrian environmental familiarity and evacuation guidance.In Netlogo,I gave each pedestrian properties according to its certain circumstances.Based on the establishment of evacuation environment and evacuation population,the evacuation of personnel under different conditions was simulated by Netlogo.And the evacuation characteristics of typical commercial district and evacuation guidance strategy were obtained.In the case analysis,I used Netlogo to simulate the evacuation of pedestrian in China Lane,based on field investigation and questionnaire survey,for the reasonable capacity of pedestrian as well as evacuation strategies.The simulation study in this paper can reflect the evacuation process,providing the basis for estimating the evacuation time,the capacity of pedestrian and the evacuation strategies.
