In recent years,the multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)is being increasingly and widely applied in the field of aerial photography and agriculture.As the command and control center of the UAV system,the ground monitor system of the UAV has gradually become the hotspot in the field of military,civil use and other areas.A set of ground monitoring software plays a vital role in the completion of UAV mission.The shortcoming and developing trend of the ground station design are analyzed and summarized,which is based on the background of current research situation of multi-rotor UAV ground monitor system at home and abroad.In this paper,the ground monitor system combined with the independent development of the multi-rotor UAV has been developed based on Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF)technology in the VS2013 software platform.It also gives a general description of the overall structure and hardware design of the ground monitor system,focuses on the design of the user interface and each function module.It uses XAML to design the user interface and uses C#for logical association on the background.The function of loading and caching electronic map,path planning and flight path drawing are achieved by using the GMAP.NET technology;the key log during the system operation is stored by using log4net technology;the communication protocol between the ground station and UAV is designed,and the method of network communication and serial communication is also realized in this paper.The paper also introduces the use of DirectShow technology to deal with the video stream and realizes the real-time UAV aerial broadcast;the three-dimensional model of the UAV is designed by using the 3DS MAX,and then the flight driving simulation is accomplished with the OpenGL technology.At last,the feasibility of each functional module is tested,and through the joint test result between the ground monitor system and the UAV which is used in agriculture,it can be concluded that the multi-rotor UAV ground monitor system meets the project functional requirements and works stably.
