Along with general plan of developing clean energy in China,China's nuclear industry has entered into a rapid booming period.All kinds of advanced nuclear reactors have been put into use,especially the fourth-generation nuclear reactor which has superior security also starts to be constructed,and it will be gradually put into use.Therefore,the localization of the nuclear fuel manufacturing is extremely urgent.This thesis analyzes and studies the problems of the demonstration of high temperature gas cooled reactor(HTGR)nuclear fuel element production line,which are that the automation level of its production line is low,the degree of industrialization is lagging behind and the labor intensity is heavy.Combining the analysis with optimization on technological process of the HTGR nuclear fuel element and the industrialization of the nuclear fuel fabrication,the paper formulates the equipment of the production line,its current situation and its manufacturing principle.Then,the paper puts forward the design and technical plan for the automation of the production line of spherical fuel element.In addition,this work has used the robot,automatic transmission line,visual inspection systems and automatic cleaning equipment to replace manual operations.Based on the monitoring platform and video monitoring system,the automatic controlling of the production line and the monitoring in the process of the product manufacturing can be realized.The main contents in this work are as follows:(1)The status analysis on automatic design for the production line of HTGR fuel component.According to the current situation on the production line of HTGR fuel component,there are problems of too much manual manipulation,the lower production efficiency,the heavy labor intensity and the incomplete ergonomic design etc.To address these problems,this paper deeply analyzes them and puts forward the optimization goals to lay the foundation for the renovation and upgrading.(2)The design and implementation of the automatic production line of HTGR nuclear fuel component.According to the production requirements and the reasons of the problems analyzed before,the overall design project and the performance indicators and requirements are proposed.Meanwhile,the automatic loading system for sintering furnace,core ball to neutralize with pressure and final suppress automatic production line,double spindle of CNC lathe automatic loading system and automatic packaging systems for the spherical fuel element are designed respectively.The designed plans are verified repeatedly and the results are compared to the validation.Finally,this paper finalizes the automation technology solution,and implements the upgrade transformation.(3)The effectiveness of the automatic production line of HTGR nuclear fuel component.Based on the analysis of the economic benefit,management benefit and social benefit when operating the production line,the implementation effects after the upgrade are shown.In addition,the problems existing in the production line are also reflected.So the follow-up improvements for the automatic production line of the HTGR nuclear fuel component are put forward.
