This paper is based on the research course of modified asphalt,the research status of polymer modified asphalt,nanometer material modified asphalt and carbon nanometer material modified asphalt were reviewed.And point out the deficiency in the study of nano material modified asphalt,the following are the main problems.First,the lack of understanding of the mechanism of nanometer modified asphalt.Second,the compatibility problem of nano-materials doped into asphalt is prominent.Finally,the preparation process of nanometer material modified asphalt is too traditional.Therefore,based on the above three questions,the modified mechanism of carbon nano material modified asphalt is studied systematically and deeply and two new types of nano-material modified asphalt were prepared.It is important to improve the road performance of asphalt,broaden the type of asphalt modifier and promote the application of nanometer material modified asphalt in road materials,main works include:1.The structure and surface topography of graphene and CG-GF was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),Raman spectroscopy,thermo gravimetry(TG),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results showed that graphene can be preparaed with layered structure.The CG-GF with multiple ether links was prepared by ion-exchange between graphenes(with organic positive hydronium)and sodium sulfonate nonylphenol polyoxyethylene.Solubility test and flow performance test showed that the mobility and the ability in organic solvent was greatly improved after surface modification.2.The conventional performance,anti-aging performance and rheological property were studied by various tests.Experiment results show that the high temperature properties and rutting resistance performance were improved,and the low temperature performance was reduced with the incorporation of three nano-carbon materials.And three kinds of carbon nanomaterials have improved the aging resistance of asphalt in different degrees.The anti-aging performance of graphene modified asphalt and CG-GF modified asphalt is better than carbon nanotubes modified asphalt.Graphenes and carbon nanotubes were mixed with styne-butadiene-styne(SBS)to prppare composite modifier,and incorporate it into asphalt.Study on the conventional performance,storage stablity and rheological property by various tests.The experimental results show that the high temperature properties,low temperature properties,storage stablity and rutting resistance performance have been improved.And compared with graphene and carbon nanotubes,the effect of functionalized graphene on SBS modified asphalt is not ideal.3.After the surface modification of carbon nanomaterials can improve its compatibility in asphalt,but also directly affect the performance of nano-materials play,looking for both to improve the compatibility of nano-materials and asphalt can not impede the performance of nano-materials surface treatment method is very important.4.The microstructure and blending mechanism of modified asphalt were analyzed by fluorescence microscope and SEM.How much proportion of graphene and carbon nanotubes mixed in asphalt from the nano-scale on the asphalt modification,and how much of the proportion of agglomeration in the form of adsorption in the asphalt play a role in modification,is a comprehensive system of understanding of nano-materials modified The key to the asphalt mechanism is also the most fundamental indicator of the effect of nanomaterials on asphalt performance.
