Today,accompanied by the rapid development of the national economy,Intelligent Transportion Systems has gradually developed into an important force to promote the development of modern transportation technology.Based on the digital image processing technology,this paper designs and develops the traffic flow statistics and speed detection system based on traffic flow video.The main completion of the research work is summarized below:In the aspect of motion vehicle detection,a moving object detection method combining frame difference and background difference method is realized.Firstly,a series of logical operations are performed on the frame difference between the frame difference method and the background difference method and the background difference binarized image is used.The background image is updated by the adaptive updating algorithm.Then the morphological processing of the calculated foreground image is processed,and finally the complete smooth vehicle target contour is extracted.In the aspect of moving vehicle tracking,a vehicle tracking algorithm based on vehicle feature point and matching operator is proposed.Firstly,the general position of the target vehicle is estimated by the GM(1,1)prediction model,and then the moving vehicle with the largest inter-frame matching degree is obtained through the center-of-gravity coordinate matching operator.Finally the vehicle is marked to complete the track of the moving target between successive frames.In the aspect of traffic statistics,an improved traffic flow statistical method is proposed,which is based on the change of the relative position state variables and the state variables of the variable state on the virtual detection line.Then,a double virtual test line traffic flow method is proposed,when two virtual test lines judge the passing of the vehicle at the same time,the traffic volume of the lane is increased by one.In the aspect of vehicle speed detection,an improved coordinate system conversion method is proposed.By implementing the camera calibration,the mapping relationship between the plane image and the actual traffic path is obtained.Combined with the principle of video speed,a double detection line speed detection method is proposed,and the actual speed of the vehicle target can be detected by comparing the pixel position information of the detection line on each lane with the actual distance between the detection lines of the image pixel coordinate system and the world coordinate system.In the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 platform and combined with OpenCV image processing library design and development of video-based traffic and speed detection system.The experimental results show that in the traffic flow statistics module,relative to a single test line for detection,double virtual test line can greatly improve the traffic detection accuracy on each lane;in speed detection module,in different weather under different lane speed detection in terms of stability and accuracy can achieve the desired effect.
