| China is a country,with its mountainous areas accounting for the majority.Due to its vast mountainous areas,many mountainous cities have been developed in China.With acceleration of urbanization,one after another mountain is moved to make room for roads.Following the destruction of the original landform,myriads of high slopes have been generated,serving as an important element of characteristics and spiritual appearance of mountainous cities and adding charm to the road landscape of mountainous cities.However,during the road landscape greening process,an aesthetic understanding of high slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic is lacking and inadequate attention is paid to this aspect.Therefore,in order to highlight characteristics of mountainous cities,enrich visual landscape,and meet people's demands of a beautiful urban environment,this paper conducts an in-depth research,and builds an aesthetic evaluation system for high slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic,which includes 34 evaluation factors.Concerning problems with the current high slope landscape greening,suggestions are provided at an attempt to guide green slope landscape greening in other mountainous cities.This paper can generally be divided into three parts:Part 1 consists of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.After clarifying the research purpose and significance and combining the research status at home and abroad,the author lists critical research questions to be solved in this paper,and confirms the research structure of the whole paper.After a systematic classification of slopes,aesthetic cognition of high slope landscape greening on the urban arterial traffic,including basic aesthetic knowledge as well as aesthetic constitution,expression,classification and benefits of the slope landscape greening.Part 2 consists of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.After evaluation theories are clarified,the evaluation index system is built.Chapter 3 provides the theoretical basis for the whole paper,which includes evaluation principles,theoretical bases and analytic hierarchy process(AHP),relevant theories and software.Based on the evaluation theories discussed in Chapter 3,Chapter 4 builds the evaluation system.Through the expert questionnaire survey,14 evaluation factors made up of nine qualitative evaluation factors and five quantitative evaluation factors are finalized.By combining the quantitative and qualitative methods and factors,the author builds the evaluation system.Yaahp,subsidiary software of AHP,is used to calculate the weight of every evaluation factor.Then,factors with a huge and slight influence are analyzed,respectively.Based on a series of data analysis,it is found out that:(1)artistic expression of landscape colors(0.1480),reasonability of plant match(0.1154),and expression of beauty in form(0.1099)are highly emphasized;and(2)through a series of investigations and calculations,the aesthetic evaluation of high slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic is worked out(see focuses on case study,conclusions and discussions of this paper.Chapter 5 applies the formula obtained in Chapter 4 to evaluate high slope landscape greening on the Chongqing arterial traffic.34 sample plots qualified for this research are selected.Field survey and photo questionnaire survey are adopted to rate these sample plots.Then,qualitative and quantitative evaluation are combined to work out aesthetic rating of every sample plot.After comprehensive conclusion,calculation and analysis,Chapter 6 comes to the following conclusions:(1)During the process of high slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic,artistic expression of landscape colors(0.1480),reasonability of plant match(0.1154)and expression of beauty in form(0.1099)are emphasized;(2)After studying the impact of soil quality,slope length and slope ratio,the author finds out differences of the three objective factors will result in changes of the value of many evaluation factors.The three objective conditions jointly constitute the objective growth environment of plants,and plants are the most important expression objects of visual landscape.Evaluation of many factors is in turn based on plant elements.Therefore,a full display of the aesthetics of slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic relies on a full consideration of scientific,artistic and reasonable nature of planting under different fixed conditions.(3)After further analysis,problems existing in high slope landscape greening along Chongqing's urban arterial traffic are pointed out.The aesthetic evaluation of its landscape greening mostly belongs to Grade II and Grade III.This means aesthetic quality of high slope landscape greening along Chongqing's urban arterial traffic calls for improvement.The overall aesthetic quality is at a medium grade,and the percentage of the quality landscape accounts is too low.Thus,more attention should be paid to high slope landscape greening of the mountainous city—Chongqing.(4)During the survey process,the quality landscape is analyzed,and its landscape greening experiences are summarized.When the slope rate is nearly vertical,the sculpture art can be integrated into it to enrich the visual landscape.When the slope surface makes it hard for match of different plants,grass and flower fences can be built close to the base of the slope so as to improve the aesthetic value of high slope landscape greening along the urban arterial traffic.When the slope is less stable,brick steps can be built in the lower part of the slope.On the layered parts between steps,different plants can be grown,or the slope rate of the upper slope can be weakened for earth-sheltered planting.When the slope rate is small,the artistic processing method of plant landscaping can be fully utilized to create beautiful landscape through match of plant colors and tree forms.(5)During the survey process,the poor landscape is also analyzed,and the cause behind defects of the landscape of the kind is summarized,that is,coarse management of slope plant landscape impairing its aesthetic value.In terms of the 14 evaluation factors,the poor landscape fails to score high.Plant growing lacks artistic expression,and the slope landscape greening fails to gain adequate attention.Therefore,high slope landscape with aesthetic value relies on people's emphasis on its landscape construction and artificial processing. |
