The detection of radome's water defect is one of the most important parts of the aircraft maintenance and inspection.The detection includes the location of water defects and the degree of water defects.The research on the technology for positioning and quantificating the water defects of special shaped radar cover rapidly has certain theoretical significance and application value.On the basis of researching the development status of domestic and international research on the detection technology of the radar honeycomb ponding water defect,a new method for detecting the water defect of curved radome based on dielectric constant modulation is proposed.In order to ensure the sensitivity of the sensor,a kind of flexible plate structure with the same scattering field is proposed.In order to improve the detection sensitivity and the detection speed,the structural parameters of the sensor are optimized by using the simulation software.In order to ensure the accuracy of the sensor and the requirements of the surface structure,the multi pole structure and the connection technology are studied.Finite element simulation software ANSYS is used to analyze the effects of different structures and sizes on the performance of the sensor.The optimal design of the capacitance sensor is carried out with the corresponding simulation data,combined with the corresponding simulation data,the capacitance sensor is optimizedAccording to the small capacitance of the sensor and the difficulty of using the differential detection circuit,a capacitance detection circuit based on the charging and discharging principle is designed.The detection circuit converts the capacitance value into a DC voltage signal.The zero adjustment circuit is designed to eliminate the extraneous information from the measured signal.Using STM32 implements the sensor output signal acquisition,digital filtering,real-time display of water level and other functions.In order to find the location of water defects and assess the degree of water defects,the newly designed capacitance sensor was used in the experiment of locating the water defects,detecting the threshold value,calibrating water elevation.Based on the analysis of the experimental data,a feasible method is designed to detect the water defect.The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve the purpose of finding the location of water defects and evaluating the degree of water accumulation.
