In the construction of landfill sites,high-quality cohesive soil is an important component of the landfill lining,but with the construction of a large number of landfill sites,in poor quality cohesive soil resource-poor especially areas,the supply of high-quality clay overextended.In order to improve the clayey soil with the new soil stabilizer,we can get better clay soil,on the one hand can increase the storage capacity,and on the other hand get more clay.Mixing ratio is the mass ratio of soil stabilizer to water used,and a large number of experimental studies have been carried out to influence the safe use of landfill site.The moisture content of the samples used in the experiment is the best water content,including permeability,unconfined compressive strength,shrinkage,expansion,water stability and adsorption of ions on the test,aimed at improving the physical and mechanical properties of soil and environmental geotechnical characteristics,optimum mixing ratio of soil stabilizer.The experiment results showed that the properties of soil samples were improved obviously,and the maximum dry density increased when the mixing ratio was 1: 100,which had some effects on permeability,shrinkage and swelling.The permeability coefficient is reduced by 1-2 magnitude compared with before,and the requirements of the specification have been greatly exceeded;the line shrinkage and the shrinkage ratio are the smallest under the compaction degree;the unconfined compressive strength reaches the maximum,and the effect of curing time on the strength was not significant.The adsorption capacity of the modified soil increased with the increase of soil stabilizer ratio,but the increase of adsorption capacity was not significant;the water stability of the sample was the most and the rate of occurrence of disintegration is far lower than other types of expansion rate when there is a significant reduction.The optimum mixing ratio of soil stabilizer is 1: 100.At the same time,a two-layer lining structure with two kinds of improved materials is studied.The upper layer is made of clay soil improved by soil stabilizer.It mainly utilizes the high strength and impermeability of the modified soil.Bentonite improved clayey soil,mainly using bentonite improved soil adsorption better performance.The experimental results show that the adsorption capacity of this structure is obviously improved under the condition of ensuring impermeability and strength,and the adsorption capacity is several times as high as that of single Layer structure.In conclusion,the physical and mechanical properties and soil geotechnical properties of soils improved with soil stabilizer have been greatly improved.This experimental study has important practical significance to alleviate the problem of high quality clay in waste landfill sites.
