Electric energy occupies a very important position in the development of the national economy.at the same time,nuclear power plays an increasingly important role in the development of new energy.Nuclear cooling pipe as an important component in the construction of nuclear power plant,it has many characteristics,such as complex shape,complex production processes,long production cycle,too much cost in the raw materials and energy.at present,manual measurement occupy a position in production of Anshan forging factory,but,due to the low accuracy of manual measurement,the utilization rate of raw material is reduced,and,rejection rate is increased.at the same time,too much time is wasted on the artificial measurement,lead to missing the forging temperature of steel ingot,reduce the range of forging temperature,the production cycle is lengthened,also,too much coal gas,electricity,water reasources is wasting.so,the cost of unit product is very high.in order to reduce or even avoid the missed opportunity in repeating measurement,we need do some things to improve the measurement accuracy of the nuclear steel ingot.so,in the article,the laser device is used to measure the length,radius of the cross section,determinaton of piecewise.this measure can effectively eliminate the disadvantage of the artificial measurement,in this way,we can ensure the quality of products,improve production efficiency.in this paper,rectangular coordinates operation was adopted.through the laser line on both ends of the hot nuclear steel ingot to measure the length of the ingot,to determine the position.through the rotating laser range finder,diameter of the pipe section is edge into a geometric function problem.by the trend of measured date,we can use the least squares fitting out cross section geometry function,and calculation radius of cross section.through using laser device for hot nuclear length,radius of the,ingot,the determination of pisition,nuclear cooling pipe production is improved,the cycle of nuclear steel ingot is shorten,and,the unit cost reduction of the pipeline is reduction.With laser device measure ingot the size of shape geometry can determine whether the production process can go smoothly,can shorten the production period of nuclear cooling piping.at the same time,improve the yield of product can reduce the wast of raw material,water,electricity,coal gas and labour force.
