Microbial Fuel Cell(MFC)is a bio-reactor that catalyzes organic chemical energy into electricity directly.It can not only purify the sewage but also harvest electricity in the working process of MFC,so that we can reduce the cost of sewage treatment to a certain extent,which received wide attention in recent years.At present,there is no automatic test device designed for MFC specially.Most of them use the manual or semi-automatic measurement method by the mechanical resistance box and data acquisition card.It is not only very complicate but also not convenient in post-analysising and processing the measurement data.So it is necessary to develop a set of automated test device for MFC.Based on the above background,for the use requirements in the parameter test link of the MFC equipment,we developed the automatic test device specifically for MFC.This paper summarizes the current development status of MFC at home and abroad,introduces the factors affecting the power of MFC production systematically,analyzes the principle of MFC measurement,and chooses the appropriate measurement method to develop the overall scheme.According to the design idea of low cost,high performance and easy operation,choose STM32 which is based on Cortex-M3 as the control unit of the hardware.The MFC internal resistance and its composition were measured and analyzed by steady state discharge method and interrupt current method.The ambient temperature is measured by DS18B20.The BH1750 light intensity sensor module is used to measure the ambient light intensity.Use the PS-LCD smart screen to achieve human-computer interaction and test data display.The two communication interfaces of USB and RS232 are designed to communicate with the upper computer.The software program is divided into the instrument control program that controls the measurement process,the PS-LCD display program and the LabVIEW PC software which is used to analyze the test data.The measure process is controlled by the program without human intervention,and the instrument is simple and quick.In this thesis,the voltage,temperature and light intensity measurement channel of the device are tested,and analyzes the test result.The test results show that the instrument can performance stably and operation reliably.It can measure the internal resistance composition,temperature and light intensity of MFC easily,so as to make reasonable suggestions to improve the production capacity of MFC.
