Asphalt concrete core wall dam,with its good penetration resistance,aging resistance,corrosion resistance and so on has become one of the new type of dam of hydraulic dam structure.But at present domestic level hundred meters high mechanical properties of asphalt concrete core wall dam study also is less.In recent years,more and more the height of the asphalt concrete core wall dam had broken through hundreds of meters.In the process of building the dam,dam body in under the action of gravity and water pressure,construction load,the dam will produce larger uneven settlement which threat to the safety of the dam.So it is necessary to study the mechanical characteristics of asphalt concrete core wall dam about hundred meters.In this paper,research and results are as follows:?1?First on the secondary development of ABAQUS platform develops duncan-zhang E-B model.Secondly this article to Xinjiang kushitayi hydropower projects engineering background as an example,the article systematically analysis core wall mechanical properties of asphalt concrete core wall dam in construction period and storage period.Then sensitivity analysis is made to the constitutive model parameters of asphalt concrete core wall.Analysis results show that the core wall of across river and along river displacement and large and small primary stress is changing with model parameters which presents a certain regularity.Angle of internal friction j,cohesion c,damage ratio Rfand parameter k have a greater influence oncore wall displacement along the river and vertical displacement.Modulus index has almost no effect on core wall displacement along the river,vertical displacement,large and small primary stress.?2?Starting from the failure mechanism of asphalt concrete core wall,this article put forward a new scheme that using curve dam core wall instead of straight bar straight core wall can reduce tensile stress in the wall.Also established three kinds of new type of curve dam core wall,the core wall curvature were 9.6×10-5,2.4×10-4,and 3.8 × 10-4.Through the contrast analysis of the rule of change with core wall stress and deformation with three kinds of new type in construction and storage period,it could determine the optimal asphalt dam type according to three new type of Asphalt concrete core wall dam.Results show that the curve dam core wall can significantly reduce tensile stress of the wall,and core wall curvature is bigger,the effect is more obvious.?3?The article takes straight bar straight core as example.Building high dam50 m and 130 m and 150 m of three kinds of asphalt concrete core wall dam calculation model,it can get a general rule of core wall mechanical properties through coMParative analysis different of the stress of the core wall with different of dam height in construction and storage period.The result shows that the increase of high dam can make the compressive stress at the bottom of the core wall increases rapidly.And core wall lateral tensile stress area also has a further expanding trend.
