With the development of industry and technology,the application of multi-level inverter is becoming more and more popular.The multi-level inverter has the more levels of output voltage waveform,high waveform sine degree,and better inverter performance,which is more suitable for high voltage and large capacity of power electronic equipment.The paper summary and comparison the various basic topology and performance of multi-level inverters.Analyzed the characteristics and performance of diode neutral-point clamping inverter,active neutral-point clamping inverter and T-type inverter.Established the mathematical model for the three-Level T-type inverter.Firstly,study the basic principle of space vector pulse width modulation algorithm.And served the detailed steps of space vector pulse width modulation algorithm.Given two methods of large sector partition and two kinds of small sector division patterns in SVPWM algorithm.Besides,study the basic principle of virtual SVPWM algorithm.Then,the neutral-point voltage unbalance is the main technical drawback of the three phase three-level T-type inverter.Space vector pulse width modulation algorithm is imperfect in three-level T-type inverter.Offered the merits and faults when using virtual SVPWM algorithm.The new hybrid modulation scheme for the complete control of the capacitor voltage in three-level T-type inverter was presented in this paper.The performance of hybrid pulse width modulation algorithm and its benefits of balancing ability and switch frequency over other previously proposed solutions and completed simulation for T-type inverter.
