In the field of today's Navy, the submarine has played an increasingly important role in naval warfare for its excellent concealment, suddenness of strike and high maneuverability.The submarine's radiated noise must be controlled at a lower level to ensure its good stealth performance. The technology of location and recognition of the noise source can detect the submarine's radiated noise effectively, thus offering further instructions for noise and vibration reduction. Therefore, the technique that location and recognition method of high-resolution performance for the noise source is of great significance and extensive application prospects.Firstly, this paper studies the theoretical derivations of near-field location and recognition method of the noise sources and does research on high-resolution location method for the line spectrum and broadband spectrum noise radiated by the submarine. On this condition, this paper conducts research on near-field focusing location methods of the noise sources from time domain and frequency domain respectively and puts forwards improved Diagonal Removal beamforming algorithm in frequency domain. Furthermore, for the surface of submarine is cylindrical, this paper carries out research on focusing location of the noise sources based on cylindrical distribution and verifies effectiveness of the algorithm.Then, this paper presents the deconvolution beamforming approach for the poor-resolution performance of noise sources location and recognition in low-frequency range.Meanwhile, this paper elucidates the theoretical principle of deconvolution beamforming approach and analyses its performance via simulation. Afterwards,this paper applies DAMAS method to two different arrays: crossed array and line array combined sonic pressure with vector information. In this way, the mapping of noise sources can avoid mirror sources and be more accurate. After that, this paper uses the two arrays to locate complex sound sources and the cylinder-distributed sound sources, analyses and discusses the performance of the deconvolution approach in different arrays.Finally,this part conducts pool experiment studies of the near-field location method for the underwater noise sources and analysis the effectiveness of the methods by processing the experimental data. In addition, this part discusses experimental resolution in different location methods and different working conditions. Thus it contributes to engineering application of location method for the noise sources.
