With the development of society, the development of communication technology has entered a new stage. And communication is more and more important so that having got an indispensable status in our life. So, the emergency communication research has become an important part of communication technology research. The so-call emergency communication is the special kind of communication mechanism that is temporary which happened when there is natural or man-made emergencies including important holidays and important meeting communication demanding surge[1]. Nowadays,there are four kinds of emergency communications, such as satellite communication, wireless communication, short wave wireless communication and microwave relay communication with the advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, the work of the UAV had been put into all aspects of social work, we creatively design the UAV emergency communications and related scenarios, then testing the possibility of the implementation of the UAV emergency communications. In the paper, the theory of space communication model is derived and studied, as well as the research on the antenna of the base station. Finally I design the software to carry out the analysis of the communication capabilities of the base station.The specific work of this paper includes:1) The paper describes the background knowledge for UAV emergency communication, then the study on half way between the altitude and ground signal propagation is deduced according to the propagation model of existing ITU. Combining with the measured data obtained for correction, we got the UAV base station coverage propagation model for simulation.2) According to the characteristics of the unmanned aerial vehicle base station, referenced the antenna characteristics of satellite communication and ground communication, we designed the suitable antenna for the UAV station, including the antenna pattern and the dip angle, .etc. At last, We found the best parameter for the UAV antenna according the simulation.3) We designed the emergency communication scenarios and compiled simulation software, for coverage under various circumstances simulation. According to the results of analysis of the advantages and disadvantages in the UAV emergency communication capabilities, we get the possibility of the implementation of emergency communication machine.
