With the rapid economic developments and the expanding of cities,large public places are increasingly closely related with our daily life.And due to the accumulation of personnel in these large public places,an emergency situation(such as fire,crowded,natural disasters,etc.)could cause significant casualties and property damages,even during the evacuation panic and the conformist mentality of personnel could also lead to stampede and therefore the most important issue of large public places is evacuation.The BIM technology is now revolutionizing the construction industry by providing accurate building data information,using BIM technology and combined with Unity's powerful virtual reality development capabilities,we can make the data and scenarios of the entire evacuation process more real.This paper introduces the main micro-models of the evacuation at home and abroad as the first step,and according to their characteristics selects the cellular automata as the mathematical model of evacuation.Then it analyses some classical cellar automata models and their own mechanism,for choosing the spatial structure of cell and its neighbor type in this evacuation environment of the paper to construct the model of evacuation process Pedestrian decision rules according to the behavior pattern of personnel.And then through the Revit secondary development technology from the building model to obtain the real data information.Finally,for making the evacuation process more real,this paper takes use of Unity as the driving engine,combined with C# language to develop the evacuation simulation.This project has realized to obtain the real building data in the BIM building model and to apply it to the cellular automata model.Under the driving of the Unity engine,it has also realized the simulation of evacuation process in different situations.As a result,this project has a significance for making evacuation strategies for public places.It is helpful to verify the evacuation capability of buildings and further to improve the design of evacuation performance.It has also a significant meaning of combining BIM with virtual technology.
