Wind disaster is one of the worst natural disasters for our country, the loss due to the wind disaster is very huge which caused by low-rise buildings destroyed more than half of the total loss. Canopied low-rise building is widely used in our country and gas station is the typical one. Gas station canopy usually adopts the steel structure form. Because of its light quality and large flexibility, it sensitive to wind load and easily damage under strong wind. The current load code of our country does not give specific requirements and specifications for the wind load of the canopied low-rise building and the research on this kind of building is relatively few.Therefore, study on canopied low-building surface wind pressure distribution has important significance.Adopt wind tunnel test study on wind pressure on the surface of canopy structure. Using passive device debug the scale of 1:20 for A, B, C three types of wind field in boundary layer wind tunnel on Hunan University of Science and Technology. The wind field corresponding to the A, B, C three types of landforms in the specification. The wind tunnel manometry test in different wind fields on canopy rigid model is done and analysis the landform effect on canopy surface wind pressure. Conclusion that the mean wind pressure of canopy surface has less affected by the landform, the fluctuating wind pressure is increases with the increase of turbulence.Based on wind tunnel test, the rule of wind pressure distribution on canopy surface influence of low-rise building was studied. Take roof slope angle and landform condition as variable, the wind tunnel manometry test for canopy and low-rise building combined structure is done. Canopied low-rise surface wind pressure distribution regularity is analyzed. Conclusion that wind pressure changes greatly with the roof slope angle on the juncture of low-rise building and canopy structure. The wind pressure on canopy lower surface increased significantly by the influence of low-rise building and the positive pressure is large on the juncture of low-rise building and canopy structure.Study on wind pressure distribution on canopy low-building surface adopted numerical simulation method. The numerical simulation and wind tunnel test results are compared to verify the reliability and accuracy of the numerical simulationmethod. Take building height as variable, numerical simulation study on the canopied low-rise buildings and analysis of the change of the canopy surface and roof pressure. The building height has large influence of the canopy and roof pressure.
