As an important carrier of urban public space of the park, take an important role in the flood drainage, mountain park as an organic part of the mountain city, based on the perspective of water sensitivity of landscape planning and design is particularly important. Based on the perspective of water sensitivity, on the foundation of sufficient research on the mountain park in the main urban area of Chongqing City, in view of the sensitivity of water landscape elements evaluation and analysis, the water sensitive method of landscape planning and design, to further improve the mountain park landscape planning and design, to promote "sponge urban construction to provide reference.The application and development of water sensitivity in park planning and design are reviewed in this paper. Introduction to the theory of water sensitivity of best management practices(BMPs), low impact development(LID), water sensitive urban design WSUD sustainable development(SUDs), and water sensitive design needed to reach the water seepage, water, stagnant water, water purification, water supply and drainage six goals; and the domestic and foreign related case analysis, is proposed to realize the water sensitive target of landscape planning and design approach.Investigation and analysis of the water sensitivity characteristics of the main city of Chongqing city. By using ArcGIS and other computer aided analysis method, the hydrological features of elevation, slope, aspect, flow, flow direction and so on were analyzed. On the basis of this, the characteristics of the water sensitivity of the park are summarized. Through the leading internal drainage area and park the park external drainage for the main area of research and found that the main city park in water sensitive planning positioning, management of hydrological and water sensitive landscape design aspects are the main problems.In the empirical part, we use mean analysis of six categories, 81 sample water sensitivity of landscape elements of evaluation and analysis, summed up the public recognition of water, interface, roads, venues, facilities and plants factors related to water sensitive landscape standards.Some methods, and puts forward the "master planning of query region hydrology research- the park water sensitive orientation" as the dominant strategy of park planning, to "Park terrain repair- stream path design region division of functional landscape design elements" park design method for the main line, to "rainwater collection, water pollution prevention" as the highlights of the park hydrological management measures, three are indispensable, work together to build become mountain park water sensitivity of landscape planning and design system.
