Many people focus on nickel zinc secondary battery,Because there are many advantages for nickel zinc secondary battery, such as safe environmental protection, high energy density, high working voltage, no memory effect and low price, but the cathode of nickel zinc battery is excessive, and most of the positive active material is beta- Ni?OH?2, So it is meaningful that improved the nickel positive electrode of high capacity and stability.In this paper, the alpha-Ni?OH?2 of a good electrochemical performance was prepared by a complexation coprecipitation method. The secondary nickel zinc battery was packed with alpha-Ni?OH?2 and test electrochemical performance by new power battery testing system. Because the samples doping Al has a good electrochemical performance and the cost is cheaper, the alpha-Ni?OH?2 doped metal element is Al in this paper, and Al-substituted alpha-Ni?OH?2 electrochemical performance were studied in detail,The optimal pH value of the solution for the preparation of samples is 11.75, The results of electrochemical performance tests show that the specific discharge capacity and cycle stability are very with Al content is 20%,the highest specific discharge capacity is 361mAh/g.This paper also analyzes the doping of Al ways of alpha-Ni?OH?2 sample, the influence of found that the best aluminium doping source is Al2?SO4?3·18H2O. Analyze to study the electrochemical properties of samples with different temperature by hydrothermal method, The study found that 140? is the best temperature, and the sample of highest specific discharge capacity is 255mAh/g. Al-substituted alpha-Ni?OH?2 doped zinc and test electrochemical performance by new power battery testing system, it found that the discharge specific capacity is decreased with increase of Zn content, but the sample are more likely to be activated.At last, we modified Ni?OH?2 by physical doping and ball milling method, and analyzed the difference between before and after processing the samples, and combined with electrochemical workstation study the electrochemical properties of the sample.
