In recent years, on account of the energy crisis and environmental problems,renewable energy is becoming more and more popular. Compared with the conventional energy, solar energy as an inexhaustible and renewable energy, has the characteristics of universality, clean, dispersion, intermittent, area, territoriality,permanent and so on. In order to cope with the energy crisis, solar thermal power generation has become one of the important ways to solve the current energy problems, which heats water with solar energy to generate steam, thereby driving turbine generating units, there is no secondary pollution and to avoid the dependence on coal, oil, natural gas and other non-renewable energy.Trough solar power generation is a generation technology of the most mature technology, the largest single capacity and the lowest cost, which has achieved a large-scale commercial operation. In this paper,the United States SEGS VI trough solar thermal power station as the research object, A real time dynamic simulation model of the thermal system of a conventional trough solar thermal power station with a certain generality is developed, Which based on the technology research of trough solar thermal power generation at home and abroad, according to energy conservation, mass conservation and the relevant knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, engineering thermodynamics, and used the method of modular modeling research and development.And the dynamic characteristics of the thermal system of the power station are analyzed based on the model analysis. The main works are as follows:According to the fundamental formula of the sun position astronomical algorithm and the affect of heat transfer and flowing of the working- medium, the mathematical models of heat collecting and heat conduction oil heat transfer of the concentrating system, and the single medium heat exchange system and the evaporation section of the heat transfer system are established.This paper according to mathematical models, using C program to prepare the corresponding algorithm, combined with the existing equipment/component(such as steam turbine, condenser, valves and so on) algorithm in the algorithms library,developed the real-time dynamic simulation model of the SEGS VI power plant ‘s thermal system.In this paper, the static and dynamic characteristics of the simulation model are verified by using the relevant data and curves and based on the simulation model, the dynamic characteristics of the thermal system of conventional trough solar thermal powerstation is analyzed. The verification of the simulation model and the dynamic characteristics of the power station show that the model can correctly reflect the process of the normal operation of the unit and the dynamic characteristics of the system, the main thermodynamic parameters are in accordance with the operating mechanism and the process of thermal regulation.The model is stable and reliable, with high static accuracy and good self stability. The real-time simulation model can be used for the development and operation characteristics of this kind of unit and can provide a good nonlinear object model for the design and analysis of the control system.
