Supercapacitors?also called electrochemical capacitors?,which generally represent one type of energy storage device,are attracting much attention currently because of their high power density?25 Kw/kg?,fast charge-discharge properties,long lifecycle,wide working temperature?-50+75 ??and their ability to function as a bridge for the power/energy gap between traditional dielectric capacitors and batteries/fuel cells.Meanwhile,with the development of nanotechnology,much more new materials come out,such as grapheme,polyaniline and so on,which solved a lot of problems that diminish the properties of supercapacitors.So supercapacitors have a faster develpnment,especially in power supply,changing pile and consumer entertainment electronic equipment power supply.Hence,we do some research on the nanometer material of TiO2 nanotube,graphene,polyaniline nanowires,alumina,building two supercapacitors and get some research productions:1.Supercapacitor of PANI nanowire/TiO2 nanotube arraysFirst,we report a facile process for the design and fabrication of PANI nanowire/TiO2 nanotube arrays.Conventional anodization and an electro-polymerization process were used to form TiO2 nanotubes and PANI nanowires,respectively.Second,we find the intricate cooperation of the two materials enables thesupercapacitor to work in a widened 1.2V potential window.The specific capacitance of these electrodesis around 897.35 Fg-1 at a current density of 0.21 Ag-1 in 0.05 M H2SO4.The modified electrodes also show high cycling stability and maintain 86.2% of the initial capacity after 1500 cycles.2.Supercapacitor of Na-ionFirst,we get the graphene by DC Arc Plasma JetCVD,and get alumina nanotube by anodization method.And then we fabricate a supercapacitors of Na-ion,setting the graphene as anode electrode,the alumina nanotube as cathode,Nacl?6 mol/L?as the electrolyte.Finally,we do some research on the supercapacitor,and finding when we give the supercapacitors a 3 Voltage of 5 minutes,it can make 8 red LED?light emitting diodes?to light almost 4 h.So we conclude that it is a good capacitor which can contain a great power.Besides,it aslo has a good lifecycle.These good properties will make it very popular in power in future.
