With the development and progress of new materials metallurgy technology, titanium alloy as the "rise of the third-generation metal" has completely replaced the aluminum magnesium alloy and steel members, become one of the most widely application scope alloy on aero-engine, especially in the element of low pressure compressor, element of high-pressure compressor air intake section and the element of the fan pressurization, titanium alloy has basically realized the whole structure.Along with the continuous development of aviation technology, in recent years, due to the thin-wall parts with light weight, saving material, the characteristics of compact structure, has been widely used in the aviation industry. In addition, in the process of design the aero-engine, designers in order to raise the aero-engine thrust-weight ratio, on the premise of meet the use of safe,as far as possible to design parts into thin-walled structure,after computing component meets the strength. Due to the particularity of the thin-walled parts, with the low rigidity, very easily deformation processing during the process of machining, unaffected by the cutting force, cutting heat and such as the clamping. Due to its low thermal conductivity of titanium alloy, lead to raise the temperature of cutting parts more, the more difficult to guarantee the size, because the tool wear, many parts of out-of-tolerance or waste product has produced. Greatly restricted the range of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts in aero-engine applications, and quality delivery of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts.This article mainly starts with the research the characteristics and cutting the characteristics of the titanium alloy material for the aero-engine, according to the status and the characteristics of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts in aero-engine, research the turning processing characteristics of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts, and the improvement measures of cutting machining, focus on improving and optimizing the revolving process routes and process method of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts. According to the special structure of the titanium alloy thin-waledl revolving parts for the aero-engine, and control requirements of the processing, combining with the machining characteristics of titanium alloy parts, using the experience of similar parts processing, formulated the process route of machining for the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts.Combining its own characteristics, reference to similar parts processing clamping way, design clamping fixture more reasonable; According to the structure characteristics of the parts, and focused on the difficult machining features of titanium alloys, choose suitable for cutting tool material and cutting tool solutions. And refine the operation steps for the finish machining, optimized the moving path and processing parameters of nc, to reduce the deformation of parts, guarantee the design dimensions and technical conditions.Therefore, research the turning technology of the titanium alloy thin-walled rotative parts in aero-engine, to enhance the level of the manufacturing technology for the titanium alloy thin-wall revolving parts, ensure the quality qualified delivery of parts has very important significance.
